Its thick woolen filling is quilted with stitches by hand in the shape of diamonds (see close up) This coton textile is ready to use. Perfect for a romantic bedroom with the charm of yesteryear. Antique French Pair heavy Ormolu Tassel Sash Window Light Pull Lavatory Pulls c1890 Hard to find a pair, originally made for sash windows but perfect for light pulls, or old fashioned lavatory pull.  In excellent antique condition with tulip bell shape to the top with "tassels" beneath.  Hole to thread the cord through.  These are surprisingly heavy and robust. Antique French tightly knitted pure cotton bed cover. Main body of cover about 84" x 76". The diamond patterned knitted edge with triangular scallops 4½" deep on all four sides. There have been some repairs. Time worn borders, reflected in price. I have machine washed and sun-dried, the stiches and repairs stayed perfectly in place. 2,200g I personally wash and iron all of the linen for sale at Frenchaffaires, it's the best way to closely examine every piece.

Antique French pair of maritime themed fire dogs Andirons for open fires or display, covered in surface rust in most places but still very solid and usable,and depending what they will be used for should clean up real well with a wire brush.perfect for open fires or would make a really pretty display focal talking point in the garden or home. The castings are excellent quality and the faces are so lifelike,look carefully and you can see anchor emblems on each girls shoulders there are also 3 emblems Havre Paris Rouen cast to the bottoms with Seine on the very bottoms, basically these are the 3 main cities that the seine passes through starting its 777 km route in Dijon and ending at the ocean in Le havre so some maritime history thrown in for free. Dimensions Approx 33 cms 13 inch long 10 cm`s 4 inch wide 22 cm`s 8.5 inch tall As mentioned they are cast iron and steel and very solid and heavy 3 kgs each so tracked shipping worldwide will not be cheap but I have taken this into account when pricing them up, I hope you like them as much as I do. Antique Old FRENH HANDMADE CURTAIN with CHERUB PUTTI ANGELS and ROSES Circa 1900 This beautiful textile is an antique Vintage French curtain in very fine cotton that dates from the 1900's. One handmade embroidered decor of cherubs. The side bottom is finished with a fringes. (some are partly missing) There are also some wear, cuts in the embroidery and a few small stains. The rings that used to hang it have disappeared. (see close up) This textile is ready to use. This is a complete unrestored vintage French copper saute pan, with a cast iron handle and copper rivets. The handle is good, the base is dented, it does not sit flat, this has F stamped just by the hilt of the handle. This is a very old Chef's Pan with lots of wear and use, it is not totally round. 'Chef's retinning' There are dents in the base and on the edge. Most if not all, can be removed successfully by your retinner.
