Entirely hand-crafted, the pieces are meticulously carved and depict savannah animals, while the board is a beautiful piece of marquetry with tribal motifs on its edges. The wood used for the pieces and board is a truly splendid species, with a lot of dimension and a very striking appearance. The game is large The king measures 14.6 cm and the board 43 x 43.5 cm. Games from Malawi are very rare, and this one, by virtue of its beauty and size, is of great value.
