The player takes the role of a spaceship pilot, and may explore, trade, engage in space and ground-based combat, and undertake various types of missions. This is the sequel to the 2002 computer game Space Rangers. An expansion called Space Rangers 2: Reboot was released in Russia in 2007, and in 2009 for the rest of the world, with slightly enhanced graphics, some new content and few quality of life improvements.
