maestro stage phaser - mythic vintage phaser from the 70s. État : Occasion Service de livraison : Colissimo Recommandé   I’m selling this mythical phaser pedal, designed by Bob Moog himself !  I don’t know the exact production year but I’d say it is from the second half of the 70s A truly beautiful analog phaser, often considered as the best ever been produced. It is used and not in a perfect cosmetic shape as you can see on the pictures but it sounds very very good. I'm selling it with regrets but I have to get funds to buy a new amp A non fuctioning LED has been replaced as well as the speed potentiometer who didn’t work well. Of course, the new potentiometer has been carefuly selected in order not to affect anything on the sound of the pedal.  The back panel to put the battery in is missing and has been replaced.  the pedal is powered with an adaptor only (sold with the pedal)

Little jewel, one of the greatest headphones amplifiers ever, extremely rare on sale, in perfect working condition and aesthetics, almost like new. Trully impressive, addicting sound. Higly regarded by audiophiles, a true reference and a collectible item. Would loved to keep this one, I'm selling it reluctantly... Comes with original box and accessories, well packaged. Would consider posting it internationally but please, ask for a quote as the postage differs from country to country and the amount in the description is for European Union only, thanks. b'"' In terms of the criteria that I listen for in any amp, transparency, noise, dynamics and the ability to get me out of my head and into the music, Prime is well, prime. All in all, a seemingly impressive effort that covers all the bases.b'"' From Neil Gader's review in The Absolute Sound head-fi.org/threads/meridian-prime-headphone-amplifier-review.691392/ Headfonia: MERIDIAN PRIME - ENGLISH EXCELLENCE b'"'Does The Prime Live Up To The Meridian Name? First I tried the Prime as an Amp/Dac combo (with PSU) and I immediately loved the sound from this demo unit: Enormous Clarity, great detail retrieval from bass to treble, top precision and dynamic sound. All presented with just the right amount of air between the instruments. Musical and detailed sound with a superb flow. The Prime sounds fast and is neutrally tuned but the best solid state kind there is. Maybe it is just slightly forward sounding, but not that much. Bass is tight, goes deep, is well layered and has a lot of detail but doesn’t have the big body of say the Beyerdynamic A20 amplifier (but it has far better quality). The Prime is a linear tuned unit and I find the bass to be perfect (and that’s an understatement) with the Audeze and Hifiman headphones but more on those later. The Prime’s mids are slightly more forward sounding, especially the vocals, but they are not bright. Don’t get me wrong on that because they sound incredibly good: perfect separation, great timbre, heaps of detail but never over-analytical and always musical and dynamic. Treble is extended and detailed but never harsh sounding. I do like my treble and the Prime does a splendid job for my taste. Treble is on the same level as the mids and bass: clarity, detail and sparkle. The Prime’s sound stage is wide and deep with a perfect balance and 3-dimensionality. I fell in love with the Prime’s sound as a DAC/Amp unit. For me this is top audiophile sound.b'"' The Prime can also be used as a DAC and Pre Amp in combination with a power amp, headphone amp or active speakers. There is no disappointment here, the Meridian DAC delivers a stunning performance in combination with my desktop sized solid state and tube amps. I love a clear, detailed and neutral DAC with a huge sound stage. Who wouldn’t? Well this is one of those DACs I could live happily ever after with. It ads nothing to the sound, in a good way that is, and using it as a pre amp boosts the performance of your amplifier. headfonia.com/meridian-prime-english-excellence/ The Prime is a top-class headphone amplifier and a surprisingly talented stereo preamp. Meridian is a master at signal processing, so it’s no surprise to find ‘Analogue Spatial Processing’ on board the Prime. It’s a function designed to counteract the fact that stereo recordings are designed to be played over speakers, not headphones. ASP blends the left and right channels to varying degrees – there are three options – to try to create a more natural presentation. These features can often compromise clarity and focus to improve sound staging, but ASP sounds pretty convincing. The Prime also works well as a dedicated stereo preamp. It’s certainly right up there with some of the best preamps we’ve heard at around the £1000 mark. En savoir plus

Clone de la TB-303 modifié par Circuitbenders, en parfait état, hormis les stickers qui se décollent un peu. Fonctionne nickel. Moded by Circuitbenders clone of the famous TB-303. Fully working. Demo here: https://youtu.be/GSebDXf9rP4 Here are the specs: The MAM MB33 Retro is the latest version of the MB33 / FAT FREEBASS clone of the infamous Roland TB-303. As standard it features all of the original TB-303 controls, and also has an external audio input through the filter and VCA. Overlapping midi notes gives you that essential 303 note slide, and any midi note with a velocity of 120 or more will trigger the note accent. Realistically if this synth was programmed correctly, you would be VERY hard pressed to distinguish between this unit and a real 303 in a mix. In a side by side comparison i'd say it sounds a little meatier than the Behringer TD3, with a little more girth and analogue weight to the sound. We have modded this machine with our circuitbenders Acid FM mods to give a huge range of extra sounds, without diluting the essential TB-303 character. MODS INCLUDE: VCO On/Off Switch: Normally when you plug a jack into the external VCF input, the MB33's VCO is automatically removed from the mix. As there may be occasions where you don't want this to happen, or situations such as when you're using the filter lock mod (see below) when you want to be able to turn the VCO on and off yourself, we've added a switch to add manual control of this. VCO Drive: The MB33 retro seems to be designed to slightly distort the output stage at full volume, much like the TB303 did. The Drive mod boosts this distortion savagely for some grungy acid techno sounds. This mod increases the maximum amount of distortion at maximum volume. The intensity of the distortion can be set using the normal volume knob. Resonance Boost Switch: An annoying issue with these machines is that the resonance never reaches self oscillation (but then neither did the TB303) and also drops off considerably when the cutoff is over 3/4 of the way up. We've solved this problem by adding the resonance boost switch. With this switch activated the filter starts to squeal with the resonance about halfway up, and then just screams with self oscillation at any higher settings. The resonance boost is especially effective when used with the VCF FM mods. VCF FM: Essentially VCF FM (Frequency Modulation) allows you to modulate the filter cutoff at audio frequencies to create all kinds of clanging cross modulation and bizarre alien splatters & sweeps. This effect works best with the resonance cranked up into self oscillation which is where the resonance boost mod comes into play. The FM controls allow you to select one of four sources for the FM signal. The first is the normal filter input socket round the back. This means you can run a sound through the filter section, but also use that sound to modulate the filter cutoff at audio frequencies at the same time. The second source is a new FM input jack on the right hand side of the case. Using this source allows you to run a sound through the filter from the VCF input or just use the internal VCO, and at the same time modulate the filter cutoff with an entirely independent sound source at the FM in jack. The actual audio from the FM in jack is not heard. The remaining two sources are the sawtooth and square wave signal from the main oscillator. These can be selected as sources completely independently of the setting on the VCO waveform knob The FM source select knob also has an 'off' setting. The amount of FM applied to the VCF is controlled using the VCF FM knob. VCF CV input: This mods adds 3.5mm jack on the right side of the machine that will accept an external CV to control the filter cutoff. The CV input should range from 0-5v. Higher voltages, or negative voltages are NOT recommended. This mod also adds a switch on the front to toggle between internal and external cutoff cont

DAC 3 A very innovative USB DAC blending modern tech with renowned TDA1543 true multibit Philips ® chip for that pure vintage "analog" listening experience... And with its very innovative on-board, always active, jitter-killing reclocker, it will sound equally good from all your sources: USB or SPDIF (coaxial and optical). Problematic, highly jittery sources, like set-top boxes, or wireless audio transmitters (airplay and the like) will now sound just like any well-designed high end transport. And yes, USB too !!! It fits in the palm of your hand, and can be battery operated, so you can take it with you and have your friends enjoy it too ! TDA1543 + Reclocker x (USB or DIR9001) + Battery power = GREAT SOUND ! Why did you design this DAC ? Nobody can be "told" what a good DAC is, you have to hear it for yourself... After searching myself for the "perfect" DAC, I stumbled on forum discussions about how these "vintage" DACs from Phillips® sounded so good. I was getting a little skeptical about those "natural" and "analog" statements for the sound of those converters, but as so many people seemed to make converging descriptions, I was left with the feeling it was not just a legend... I decided I had to build one, and try for myself ! As the result was more than surprising... I told myself: wow, I got to show that to my friends... And what most of my friends said: "can you build one for me ?" Call that a market study... Why do audiophiles do not like the sound of current oversampling DACs ? Oversampling DACs are textbook correct, right ? So they should sound perfect, no ? Well... While it is true that oversampling DACs are textbook correct, if you make the wrong assumptions about the human hearing system, you may end up making mistakes, even if you do the math right ! Let me give you a simple example: it is generally assumed we hear the spectrum of sounds, but can't hear the phase. Now try "binaural beats" on Google and listen for yourself. These clearly show the phase information IS sensed, AND remains present far inside the brain. So maybe the spectrum-only approach to DAC design is not telling the whole story... Traditional non-oversampling DACs from the past did not make any assumptions about hearing mechanisms, they just tried to replicate in analog what you fed them digitally as closely as possible... What are the main features of this DAC ? And what are the main goals of its design ? Extract the pure performance of the last built non-oversampling true 16-bit TDA1543 DAC from Philips® Provide equally high sound quality on either USB or SPDIF sources thanks to a very innovative reclocker USB, Optical & Coaxial inputs (a simple press on the button switches them in round-robin fashion) NO DRIVER Install necessary: uses the stock drivers of your OS: Linux, MacOS, and yes, Windows too (all flavors, XP, Win7/8...) just plug on USB and it's your default sound output ! Frequency indicator (works the same on all inputs) always tells you the REAL sample rate of your source (your computer/transport can't lie to you) DIR9001 96 kHz SPDIF Receiver Supports sampling frequencies from 28kHz to 108kHz (continuous range, including non-standard frequencies) TDA1543 16-bit DAC - the original from Philips® Passive I/V conversion No Op-Amp - direct output with 2Vpp (will drive any power amp well) Huuuge capacitors on the output path provides sub-Hertz cutoff frequency (Three Stage power supply regulation (for a super low background noise level) Separate voltage regulator for the DAC and the Digital SPDIF receiver (same reason as above) Battery-powered with dual 9V NiMH batteries Smart battery charger on-board (quickly charges the batteries when depleted, keeps them charged at low current when idle) Will Directly drive any power amplifier or preamp Easy to carry around and make it listen to yours friends 2+ hours of listening on the batteries, if used standalone with spdif source How can such a small device sound so good ? Simple is beautiful... The less you process sound, by adding unnecessary stages, the more transparent result you get. A minimalist non-oversampling DAC will achieve that goal, and by being transparent, will give you great musical pleasure, and deep connection to musical emotions... What are owners of your DACs saying ? The first person to receive my DAC 3 was one of the Indiegogo crowdfunders, here is what he says about it (personnal email, reproduced with permission): "I've been using my DAC3 and am very pleased with it's sonic performance. The DAC3 digs deep into recordings and uncovers subtle musical details that I've missed using other DAC's. It also sounds very analogue and not at all harsh." Kind regards, Andrew Smith."     These are evaluations of my DAC 3...        Includes: 1x DAC 3 2x NiMH Batteries inside Note: power supply is not included, as it's designed to power from USB external power adapters are supported too, any 12V-24V (15V 1A recommended) wall transformer will do, laptop supplies are ok too, car power also... Video with detailed explanations on the design of this DAC: More details at: http://audio.starting-point-systems.com/   WARNING: If like me, you have the habit of cranking up the volume knob of your amp just to check if the device connected to it has its power on... don't do it with that DAC ! It's background noise is so low (no kidding) it just will fool you into thinking it's maybe not connected. Pressing the "play" key on your CD transport or favorite PC software will blow your speakers, kill your ears, piss-off your neighbors... How do I know... Well, it happened to me... Return Policy: If you don't fall in love with this DAC after listening to 2 or 3 or your favorite tracks with it, I'll refund your purchase without discussion.

Grundig GDM-121 Dynamic Microphone late 50's made in West Germany with box in excellent condition and full working order. Jack is replaced with 3 XLR plug. Quoted from Trashblitz website; Grundig GDM-121 Behold one of the foundational pillars of: The Grundig GDM-121, 1950s German vintage gold deluxe, and in all its glory quite probably responsible for this website. It is to this day the only gold coloured microphone we own, and it has such a cute little metal table stand with the Grundig four-leaf clover on it! And, more importantly, it was one of the first “vintage” microphones we acquired that did not simply sound old, funny or broken, and it piqued our interest in a very special way: It sounded fantastic, but there was buzz and hum and all sorts of unpleasant background noises mixed into the signal – and here my quest to  began. I found out that the GDM-121 is a high-impedance version of the Sennheiser MD21, a dynamic omnidirectional reporter microphone which is still being manufactured with only minor design updates, more than 60 years after its release in 1953. In terms of usefulness, this means that it is 100% functionally equal to the MD21, which was used as a reporter mic and in broadcasting. It has many advantages for these purposes – almost no handling noise, no proximity effect, incredibly sturdy (there was supposedly a show on the Sennheiser stage on some fair in the 1950s where an MD21 was dragged up and down a flight of stairs for hours, and it was still operational after this treatment). Since it was developed for vocal applications mainly, it has a presence boost above 3kHz and can withstand really high SPL. Much like with its cardioid sibling, the MD421, it’s virtually impossible to get a distorted signal out of this mic. In the studio, it can be used as a soft, jazzy kick drum mic, on guitar cabinets and on many instruments where you want to capture a mellow and natural ambient sound without very detailed transients or highs. This is because it is a large-diaphraghm dynamic omni, and as such probably unique in its properties even in most serious studio microphone collections.

I'm selling my DIGITECH XBS Bass Squeeze Dual Band Compressor (Bass Pedal effect). The pedal is in very good condition (bought in 2007 and used with caution at home only - No studio nor stage). The pedal will come with its original box and its user's manual. The pedal is discontinued by Digitech, so it starts to be rare. Dimensions:        Long   : 12.5 cm       Large  : 7 cm       Height : 5.2 cm       Weight: 630 g Check on YouTube some demo... The pedal is really located in France (Montpellier) not in Japan nor China. So if you're European, it will take not a long time to reach your position !
