The rug is in good condition for the age with almost everywhere full pile, some little areas has low pile and some shades from the folding (they will disappear with the time). Generally the rug is in very good condition. The Lilihan rugs are executed using the Hamadaan (single-wefted) weave, typically this means that they have one heavy cotton weftand are made with thick, first quality wool. The Lilihan rugs are the only fabrics in the Sultanabad region to be single-wefted.
