ULTRA RARE CARTES POUR XEROX 820 16/8 PERSONAL COMPUTER DE 1 EN FRANCE
ULTRA RARE Cartes pour Xerox 820 16/8 Personal Computer de 1983. The Xerox 8/16 succeeded the Xerox 820 series. It has two processors: an 8-bit Z80 to run CP/M and an 8086 for MS DOS or CP/M-86. The power supply, the display and the disk system were shared between the two processors, which were otherwise independent. This computer was one of the first desktop computers to have simultaneous processing; a task could be started on one operating system and, with a special keyboard command, the user could switch to the other processor to perform another one. Both processors could run at full speed because they did not share RAM or system resources. Only input/output devices were locked to the user's active processor.
