DISCOGRAPHIE complète de INNA DE YARD (original band 2004-2011) released on CD   + RARES BONUS CDs - EXCELLENT ROOTS REGGAE -  Cette enchère est une occasion rarissime pour les fans du groupe Inna De Yard ou d'autres collectionneurs de REGGAE de pouvoir acquérir la collection complète des CDs réalisés par le groupe original, sur le label Makasound, entre 2004 et 2008. Elle totalise 10 CDs au total, quelle sacrée série ! Des chanteurs et musiciens ‘de légendes’ sont immortalisés ‘dans l’arrière cour’ avec et chez Earl Chinna Smith. Je propose non seulement cette série mythique, mais j’y ajoute des BONUS très rares, voire introuvables : 1/ le CD ‘See and Hear’ : le groupe était allé en Suède en 2011. Les musiciens avaient profité de ce séjour pour enregistrer en studio quelques nouveaux morceaux, avec des musiciens locaux ! ‘voir et écouter’ (‘see and hear’) : c’est du très lourd !!! 2/ le lot de cartes postales ‘promo’ de Makasound de l’époque : de superbes dessins des musiciens qui ont été immortalisés  …   dont certains nous ont quittés …  3/ mes ‘bonus personnels’ : j’avais enregistré des diffusions radio de concerts du groupe en 2009, puis un autre concert en LIVE, en juillet 2010 à la Plage Glaz’Art à Paris… j’offre donc ces excellents enregistrements avec ce lot ! Le concert de Paris en 2010 inclus une autre ‘légende’ du REGGAE : Monsieur Clinton FEARON, qui profita de cette occasion pour nous offrir quelques unes de ses célèbres compositions ! quel show ! J’espère pouvoir faire plaisir à des fans qui n’auraient pas déjà tout cela, ou à d’autres personnes qui ne connaissent pas cette série qui est vraiment ‘historique’ à mon avis. David Bowie's very own copy he used when in recording studios was part of the recent exhibition seen around the world. The Oblique strategies are known by musicians and the OB's are still used today for daily inspiration. Several re-editions of this card set were made since but very few people have ever seen this first edition. This is an exceptional collector's piece. Impossible to find in this great condition. The box as light wear on the bottom corners but is still really great (see photos) Cards are super clean, signed card is perfect. A museum piece ! Si c’est le cas, même minime, il ne pourra plus être considéré comme NM. EX Excellent La pochette peut avoir quelques très discrètes rayures et/ou des petits plis. Le disque montre des signes d'avoir été joué (marques lumineuses sensibles), mais la perte de qualité sonore est pratiquement inaudible. VG+ Très bon La pochette présente des signes de manipulations évidents: extrémité légèrement cornée, étiquette du prix, plis. Mais aucun défaut majeur. Il se peut aussi qu'elle soit en parfaite état mais présente un poinson ou une extrémité biseautée. C'est l'état le plus courant des disques de deuxième main. Les disques ont quelques rayures qui n'affectent pas la qualité sonore. Certains crépitements peuvent être audibles sur des platines très sensibles. VG Bon La pochette est usée avec des plis, des marques, des décollements, une usure des bords, des décolorations, un début de marque circulaire du disque sur la pochette. Les signes de l'âge sont présents. Le disque a des rayures et marques qui affectent la qualité sonore avec éventuellement quelques craquements et/ou sautements sur quelques pistes. G Passable L'état de la pochette est proche de celui de VG- avec en plus des écritures, un papier gondolé à cause de l'humidité, des déchirures sur les bords... La qualité du son est détériorée par les nombreuses lectures, il y a du souffle, des sautements et/ou des craquements répétés et nuisibles. On ne distingue pratiquement plus les sillons du disque. B Mauvais La pochette est très abîmée avec des déchirures, des traces et marques d'usure un peu partout. Le disque n'est plus jouable correctement à cause des trops nombreuses rayures et défauts de surface. Le disque peut être cassé, dans ce cas il mérite sa place au catalogue uniquement s'il est rare. Hornsby wrote seven of the nine songs with his brother John Hornsby, and they create their own world, a working-class environment of longing and loneliness set against the background of the Virginia Tidewater area. (The album cover displays a sepia-toned photograph of the band set over another photograph of the long Chesapeake Bay Bridge.) The lyrics are lightly poetic and restrained, for the most part. The exception is the title song (written by Bruce Hornsby alone), a brave if somewhat clumsily written attack on the heartless right-wing politics of the mid-'80s, as the U.S. suffered through a second Reagan administration determined to roll back civil rights gains. The boldness of the statement and the lovely piano theme more than compensate for the awkward writing, however, making the song one of the album's most memorable. And that's saying a lot when the competition includes the engaging "Mandolin Rain" and the appealingly romantic "Every Little Kiss" (Hornsby's other sole writing credit). Perhaps it shouldn't be a surprise that the music is so accomplished. Hornsby was no teenage neophyte when he made it, having kicked around the music business and gotten into his thirties, and the band includes such veterans as David Mansfield, who may be remembered as a member of Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder troupe and the Alpha Band, as well as being a film composer. Sometimes a debut album just happens to be the first music most people get to hear by a mature talent, and that's the case here on the debut album of the year. DURING THE 1970’s, the glorious Sunshine State of Georgia had been a fertile breeding ground for home grown Southern Rock nurturing, amongst others, the Allman Brothers Band, Grinderswitch and the Atlanta Rhythm Section. Doc Holliday, although not as universally well known as those big selling, stubble sporting whiskey soaked troubadours, were an important, nay essential, addition to that linage of respected and revered musicians. Developing a reputation as one of the hottest acts on what was affectionately termed the chittlin’ circuit DH, or Roundhouse as they had been known, eventually courted the ears of various power players in the record business. Wined and dined by the cigar chomping executives at A&M Records they were eventually signed to a major contract in 1980. Introduced to renowned English record producer ‘Colonel’ Tom Allom (Judas Priest, Strawbs, Nantucket) the coupling appeared an unlikely marriage but the natural  bonhomie of both parties proved hugely infectious helping to create one of the most impressive debut albums from a Southern Rock band since the glory days of the Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Rare ! 1°)  Martika Après un premier album Martika vendu à plus de quatre millions grâce à son plus grand succès Toy Soldiers, chanson arrivée numéro un dans les palmarès américains, et dont le refrain fut utilisé comme échantillon pour le single Like Toy Soldiers d'Eminem. Tracklisting: photos 2, 3, 5 2°) Martika's Kitchen est son second album. The album contained four tracks with writing and production input by Prince: Martika's Kitchen, Spirit, Love... Thy Will Be Done and Don't Say U Love Me.. Prince became involved after Martika had already recorded most of the album. She had seen the Graffiti Bridge movie several times and had contacted Prince saying the movie spoke to her and reflected things she had written in her own notebook. He recorded and submitted Love... Thy Will Be Done in December 1990, and Martika loved what she heard; her record company encouraged her to work further with Prince, and he quickly recorded further tracks. Martika's Kitchen, Spirit and Don't Say U Love Me were recorded in December 1990, or January 1991. Martika simply replaced Prince's vocals with her own in early 1991 (adding some additional lyrics, resulting in her co-writing credit), and additional instrumentation and background vocals were recorded by her musicians in New York. 1.
