Eloy - Performance - Pathé Marconi - 2C 070-46714 - France - 1983 German progressive rock group formed in Hannover in 1969. They took their name from H.G.Wells "The Time Machine",and sci-fi elements feature in much of their music,particulary the mid to late 70s concepts albums. In their early days Eloy palyed a heavy rock,at first influenced by Deep Purple or Uriah Heep and then increasingly took on influences from Pink Floyd.Eloy went to be one of the most internationallly successful of German prog rock groups born out of the Krautrock era...
