1964 Motor Yacht This beautiful Yacht La Felicite started life in 1964 as a mahogany motor sailer ketch. Between 2007-20010 the hull was completely rebuilt new as is now fiberglass over ply all in very good condition. Over the past 4 months she's had an internal fitout including all new cushions and upholstery, paint, New fridge, hull repaint, decks refinished in 2k paint, antifoul, New fuel tank and a service. Since all the work has been done we've cruised about 40 hours mainly on the canals but also along the coast. She's a great boat- perfect for the canals with her 1m draft but also handles very well at sea with a very heavy keel. We restored the boat with no expense spared as we planned to keep the boat for a long time, and use it in the canals and coastal cruising the med, but business commitments have mean that we have to leave France, so she's going up for sale. The Perkins 4236 fires up straight away, runs smoothly, blows no smoke, uses no oil, and pulls well. We normally cruise at around 6 knots and the engine is smooth and quiet. These engines are bullet proof, all part are readily available and cheap from uk specialists. The gearbox is very smooth too. She has a beautiful mooring on the canal du midi till 2022 near Villeneuve les Beziers. The cost of the mooring is only 500 euros a year. She also has a permit to use the canal system which is paid up until the end of the year. As far as equipment goes it has everything you need. There's basically 3 double berths, a head a clever shower that works inside the bathroom and outside on deck. It's perfect for 2 couples or a couple and kids as you have plenty of privacy between the 2 cabins.
