NAGRA III MONO À TOULOUSE

Legendary tape recorder. 8 kg of Swiss made high precision sound technology. Use 12 LR 20 batteries for long lasting Operation. Transport is working, (recording and playback). the meeter needle modulate normaly during testing, recording and playback. But as I can judge the quality of recording is very poor. As I can judge it because: -  I can only monitor through the loudspeaker and recording is barely audible behind high rumble, but it is said in manual loudspeaker quality is low and only headphone monitor is great  -  I don't have anymore needed banana plug adapter to monitor through headphones. - The tapes I presently have are from the heighties... So to make it short The basic functions seems to operate but not in a very satisfaying way.and I cannot test it futher. This unit need professional grade service to return to state of proper use. I can only garanty that it is sold as is. Please ask questions prior to buying ! Delivered with leather case (signs of wear but still functionnal) and photocopied manual.
