La mise au poit dans le viseur est fluide.  Présence de poussière et champignons dans le viseur, mais cela ne gène pas la visée et la mise au point. Le levier d'armement n'est pas en place. La vis pour le fixer est maquante.  L'armement peut se faire sans le levier d'armemement. ALPA Mod.6b film camera This camera is in really good cosmetic condition, despite the inevitable marks of time. Tested with used film. The camera shoots at all speeds. (Without guarantee on the reality of the speeds). The view counter is working. The film drive works. The self-timer is working. The focus in the viewfinder is fluid. Presence of dusts and fungus in the viewfinder, but this does not interfere with aiming and focusing. The cocking lever is not in place. The screw to fix it is missing. The cocking can be done without the cocking lever.

La mise au point dans le viseur est fluide.  La visée est propre. Quelques légères taches floues en périphérie du viseur (sans doute sur le prisme ALPA Mod. 6 C film camera This camera is in good cosmetic condition, despite the inevitable marks of time. Tested with used film. The camera shoots at all speeds. The view counter is working. The film drive works. The self-timer is working. The needle of the cell reacts to changes in light. But sometimes it hangs. To rewind the film, the unlock button must be held while rewinding.

objectif Alpa Kern Macro Switar 1.8 50 mm  AR Monture ALPA. Cet objectif est en très bon état. Des marques d'usage visibles. Cet objectif permet de faire la mise au point de 28 cm (j'ai mesuré 27 cm) à l'infini. L'ouverture et la fermeture du diaphragme est représentée sur l'objectif par un graphisme qui indique la profondeur de champ. La bague de mise au point est très fluide. Les lentilles sont claires. En regardant vers une source très lumineuse on peut distinguer un léger halo brumeux en toute périphérie de la lentille la plus proche de l'appareil photo. Quelques légères traces de nettoyage. Quelques poussières entre les lentilles. Sans doute quelques fines rayures de nettoyages sur les lentilles externes. Le diaphgrame s'ouvre et se ferme correctement. Les lamelles du diaphragme sont très belles et très propres. Fourni avec bouchon arrière, bouchon avant, pare soleil,  filtre et bagues allonge. Alpa Kern Macro Switar 1.8 50 mm AR lens ALPA frame. This lens is in very good condition. Visible marks of use. This lens allows focusing from 28 cm (I measured 27 cm) to infinity. The opening and closing of the aperture is represented on the lens by a graphic which indicates the depth of field. The focus ring is really smooth. The lenses are clear. Looking towards a very bright source we can distinguish a slight hazy halo around the periphery of the lens closest to the camera. Some slight traces of cleaning. Some dusts between the lenses. Perhaps a few fine scratches from cleaning on the external lenses. The aperure opens and closes correctly. The aperure blades are really nice and very clean. Supplied with rear cap, front cap, sun visor, filter and extension rings.

I have reached 70 and have decided to empty my house of all that I have accumulated over the years  so I am not accepting returns. There will be a number of photo items coming on shortly, from Leicas to 8x10, camers, lenses, film and accessories. This sale is for an Alpa 12 SWA compatible upside down mount plate.  Mounted normally on a tripod the SWA can give only a +ve shift which is fine for correcting perspective in architecture when the photographer is at ground level. If however the photographer is looking down on the subject, to get perspective correction he would need to turn the camera on its head. This device enables the use of -ve shift with the SWA. It is mounted in place of the viewfinder, allowing the body to be mounted upside down on a tripod. It is like the upside down device from Alpa 400.090.14 with a QR plate attached. Very useful. It can also be used with the tripod distancer on the SWA and other Alpa bodies. Here we have a Linhof Technika IV 5x7-inch (13x18 cm) camera. It is in pretty good used condition, and appears to be fully functional. The front standard take a bit of pushing to get onto the track, but all the movements and adjustments are smooth. There are no pinholes that I can see in the bellows (I checked with a flashlight). Ground glass is included, and viewing hood is intact. The handle leather is cracked: I would not trust it to hold the camera. I tested this SX-70 with a new pack of film: the motor runs, but the dark slide does not eject.  When I press the shutter button, the camera appears to a take a picture (mirror flips, and longer shutter speeds are used in low light) but no film is ejected.  Apart from the that, the camera looks nice. Here we have a Braun Nizo S55 Super 8 camera. The motor runs but there is no sign of the aperture metering display in the viewfinder, and pressing the battery check buttons does nothing. It's not clear if the camera is actually metering but the display is just dead, or if the whole metering system is malfunctioning. There's also some coating wear on the front element of the lens, but the internals look clean and clear (as does the viewfinder). Power zoom works. OK, this is something special. It came in with a Minolta AF-S (also for sale separately). It appears to be a custom, one-of-a-kind leather case designed specifically for that camera. It appears to be made of something like ostrich leather, crazy as that sounds. The stitching is precise, and the inside has a soft lining. There is a cutout along the top rear edge that provides access to the AF-S's viewfinder and flash release. I am almost positive this is not a commercial product: there is no branding, and there is no tripod screw attachment in the bottom of the case, yet it precisely holds an AF-S (as seen in the pictures). This superzoom camera basically works but the zoom control can be a little picky -- you might need to move it a couple of times before it makes a good connection. This is a nice example of Canon's update to the classic AE-1. Everything appears to work and overall condition is good except for a slight bend in the hot shoe retention rails. You can still attach a flash (I'm including a Canon Speedlite in the sale). This Rolleiflex 3.5 F appears to be fully functional and is in good user condition.  - Lenses are clean and clear: no fungus, no haze, no marks.  - Shutter fires on all speeds. - Meter is working and accurate. - Aperture works properly. - Selectors and controls feel good. - Focus is smooth across the range. - Back opens neatly and closes tightly. - Wind-on is smooth. My understanding is that this camera's back is equipped with a special pressure plate that can accept a glass insert to maximize film flatness (hence the bulge towards the bottom of the back). However, the glass plate is not present (the camera can be used normally without the glass insert). This lens is a mystery to me. I believe it uses the T4 universal mounting system, but I can't remove or even identify the bayonet that's on it right now. The notch makes it looks like Konica AR, but it won't mount on a Konica camera. Also, there's the bit of metal ring that's bent upwards -- I can't tell if that's supposed to be like that (it might fold down easily if mounted on a camera) or if it's damaged.  The lens glass is in very good condition, clean and clear with no fungus or haze. This is the most tactical-looking accessory to feature on the Camera Sanctuary so far. If you really want to "shoot" your SLX, this is what you need. In excellent condition, probably unused -- this was acquired from the stock of a former camera store. This VSL 3-E seems to have some kind of electronics problem. The viewfinder display lights up "60" with the other speeds showing flashing dots, no matter what the settings. Shutter fires at specific speeds, but in A mode mirror locks up. Cosmetically, the camera is in like-new condition. It was acquired from the stock of a former camera store, and my guess is it was a return that failed shortly after the original owner bought it. This Foca, like so many Focas, no longer works. The shutter doesn't fire. You can look through the viewfinder and see the nifty rangefinder-style focusing patch (lens focus is smooth). Looks like there's some fungus in the lens itself. Cosmetically, the camera is in good shape. I hope someone can restore it, but it makes a nice shelf piece as-is, a relic from the twilight of French camera making. Be sure to check out my other sales. Here we have a very nice looking Contarex Electronic with a problem: the battery door seems to be stuck. At least I can't turn the release. Most likely, batteries were left in the camera and subsequently leaked and expanded, jamming the door, but I can't say for certain. Mechanically, the camera seems to work -- the shutter fires, though only at one speed since there's no electronic control. Curtains look fine. Viewfinder is clean and clear. This little gem of a camera is in good condition and appears to be fully functional. Shutter fires on all speeds. The three viewfinder windows are clean and clear. Lens looks good. Focus is stiff but smooth. Aperture ring clicks neatly. Frame counter works. Cosmetics are good apart from some edge peeling of the leatherette. This simple viewfinder camera seems to work fine apart from the slowest shutter speeds: 1/5 sec and below sound too slow, but 1/10 and up sound fine. Wind-on is and focus are smooth, lens looks good, aperture selector turns nicely. Cosmetic condition is rough, with some corrosion and loose leatherette.
