There are some marks and wear on the Fresnel screen. I rate this item cosmetically at a (9+). Functionally, this ground glass is in proper working order. I have reached 70 and have decided to empty my house of all that I have accumulated over the years  so I am not accepting returns. There will be a number of photo items coming on shortly, from Leicas to 8x10, camers, lenses, film and accessories. This sale is for an Alpa 12 SWA compatible upside down mount plate.  Mounted normally on a tripod the SWA can give only a +ve shift which is fine for correcting perspective in architecture when the photographer is at ground level. If however the photographer is looking down on the subject, to get perspective correction he would need to turn the camera on its head. This device enables the use of -ve shift with the SWA. It is mounted in place of the viewfinder, allowing the body to be mounted upside down on a tripod. It is like the upside down device from Alpa 400.090.14 with a QR plate attached. Very useful. It can also be used with the tripod distancer on the SWA and other Alpa bodies. If you don't feel like shelling out for a Rolleiflex with a meter, this Mat 124G is what you want. It is in very good condition and appears fully functional. Shutter fires on all speeds, sounds good. Wind on is smooth. Meter is working and accurate. Focus is smooth and even. Glass is clean and clear, no fungus, no haze. There are a couple of very small coating marks towards the edge of the taking lens (only visible under careful inspection), nothing that will impact performance. Ground glass is clean. Viewing hood flips up and down neatly, magnifying loupe works. There is old corrosion in the battery compartment, but the battery still makes good contact. Self timer works. Cosmetic condition is good, with minor wear. This is a beautiful looking Rolleicord Va with a couple of minor problems. The bad news: - There's something visible in the taking lens with a flashlight test, probably a bit of old fungus. Likely not enough to impact real world performance, but I have to disclose it. - Shutter sticks below 1/30th sec.  The good news: - Lenses otherwise look very nice, no marks or scratches. - Shutter works fine at speeds faster than 1/15th sec. - Film transport works, feels good. - Film counter works and resets. - Aperture control works, lever feels good. - Shutter speed selector feels good.  - Ground glass is fairly clean. - Magnifying loupe works. - Back fits nicely. - Viewing hood opens and collapses neatly. Here we have a Linhof Technika IV 5x7-inch (13x18 cm) camera. It is in pretty good used condition, and appears to be fully functional. The front standard take a bit of pushing to get onto the track, but all the movements and adjustments are smooth. There are no pinholes that I can see in the bellows (I checked with a flashlight). Ground glass is included, and viewing hood is intact. The handle leather is cracked: I would not trust it to hold the camera. The leatherette is peeling or missing in a few places, so if you want the camera to look its best you should plan to recover it, and I'm sure it would benefit from a CLA, but I believe it's usable as it is. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About Camera Sanctuary: Like you, I love cameras.
