Je sors le disque (avec sa sous-pochette) de sa pochette cartonnée, car sinon le disque peut bouger et faire des trous dans la pochette (vécu en tant qu’acheteur). Puis j’ajoute 3 couches de protection : 1.    pochette en plastique comme celle que vous trouvez chez un disquaire. 2.    enveloppe à bulles avec des cales pour assurer l’écart avec le 3ème niveau. 3.    carton cannelé haute qualité, très rigide, avec la mention « fragile »   Shipping with Mondial Relay tracking, perfectly reliable. I take the disc (with its under-cover) out of its cardboard cover, because otherwise the disc can move and make holes in the cover (experienced as a buyer). Then I add 3 layers of protection: 1. plastic pouch like the one you find at a record store. 2. bubble wrap with shims to ensure the gap with the 3rd level. 3. high quality fluted cardboard, very rigid, with the mention "fragile"

Ils vivaient exclusivement à Madagascar. Les Aepyornis sont considérés comme les plus lourds de tous les oiseaux ayant existé, leur masse approchant les 500 kilogrammes. Ces oiseaux étaient incapables de voler. Dans certains cas, ces œufs ont une circonférence de plus d'1 mètre, une longueur pouvant atteindre 34 centimètres, et un volume de 9 litres. Il vivait à la fin du Crétacé, il y a 100 millions d'années, c'était l'un des plus longs dinosaures carnivores, il peut avoir atteint 12 m, soit presque la longueur du Tyrannosaurus, bien qu'il soit estimé qu'il pesait 3,5 tonnes, ce qui le rendait plus fin que le carnosaure géant. Following their post-modern vibe further into Brian Eno's futuristic sound-space, U2 have now floated so far out of their customary atmosphere they've even abandoned their moniker. And with good reason. ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS 1, a loose collection of compositions written for films which may or may not exist, resembles a U2 album in only the vaguest of ways--it is basically a Brian Eno concoction, with Ireland's finest contributing not much more than their distinctive instrumental feel and Bono's new-found subtlety around a vocal mic. Yet these characteristics are enough to identify the participants, and to raise Passengers above the standard electronic/ambient din that has taken over clubland in the 1990s. ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS 1 is not strictly an experimental excursion. While much of the album follows the atmospheric norm of Eno's own Soundtracks series (after which this project was named), there are a number of traditional "songs" interspersed between the synthetic canvases, and most of these are softer extensions on the ZOOROPA aesthetic. "Slug" finds Bono whispering wishes over tension-filled keyboard washes and layers of rhythm. "Your Blue Room," a relaxed kin to "One" and "The Unforgettable Fire," is U2 playing Tindersticks--full of menacing organ, faint, Duane Eddy-like guitar, and starring Larry Mullen, Jr. as a Euro Funky Drummer. Finest among these surreal moves is "Miss Sarajevo," which uses Luciano Pavarotti's tenor as a voice of empowered grief in the melancholy story of a war-torn beauty contest. When ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS 1 moves outward, it flies in the direction of the nearest rave--adding world-wide rhythms to Eno's ambient soundscapes, to form a compass of emotions. "United Colours" is a straight-up techno track with passing samples of scratched records, fly-by vehicles and looped voices. "One Minute Warning" is an eerie alarm, complete with African and electronic beats, a machine-gun ticker-tape pulse, and an incomprehensible Eno-led choir seemingly ushering in the apocalypse. The album ends with a mixture of the two explored worlds: "Theme From Let's Go Native" is a bit of tribal rockisms, led by a stray dub bassline and Edge's simple chords. To start with, the album material isn't necessarily the best of. While the songs are a just-decent sample of some of the finer moments from the band's glory days, Songs to Learn and Sing and Ballyhoo are both better introductions. Albums covered include Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine, Ocean Rain, and Echo & the Bunnymen. There are classics here to be sure: "The Cutter," "A Promise," and "Ocean Rain" are all glorious slices. But there are glaring omissions among these classics, including "Lips Like Sugar," "The Killing Moon," "Bring On the Dancing Horses," and "Never Stop." The Cutter might be a nice find in the used CD bin, if one is looking for one particular track and an assortment of other okay songs. The live covers certainly don't justify the album, as they serve merely to break up an otherwise interesting collection. "Paint It Black" sees Ian McCulloch butchering the classic song like a campy vampire; it actually starts out promising, but McCulloch falls apart about a minute and half in. "All You Need Is Love" just sounds stupid, as if the band had only been rehearsing it for a day; there's no passion in the performance. Les vinyles comportent des rayures et des traces nettement visibles mais elles n'interfèrent en aucun cas sur la lecture. Infimes craquements audibles entre certains morceaux. La pochette est en excellent état. Très légère usure des coins. Physical Graffiti est un double album du groupe de rock britannique Led Zeppelin. Il est sorti le 24 février 1975 et a été produit par Jimmy Page. C'est leur sixième disque studio et le premier album produit sur le label Swan Song Records créé par Led Zeppelin. La jaquette originale du vinyle - véritable petite oeuvre d'art à mon sens - possède des fenêtres découpées dans l'immeuble représenté sur la couverture. Dès que les protections intérieures des disques changent d'orientation, des objets ou personnages apparaissent dans ces fenêtres, incluant entre autres les photos des membres du groupe. Cassette condition: very good condition - tested and listened to on cassette player - excellent listening.     Commentaire perso : rarissime cassette (n’est pas référencée sur Discogs) – pressage français. Il faut savoir que les cassettes single (ou K7 2 titres) sont apparues sur le marché français fin 1991 et ont cessé je crois dans le courant de l’année 1994. Format qui a peu intéressé les acheteurs potentiels de musique. La cassette 2 titres prise en sandwich entre le CD 2 titres apparues au même moment (plus pratique à écouter) et le CD album, qui avait tué à l’époque le vinyl (45 tours et 33 tours). "Streets of Philadelphia" is a song written and performed by American rock musician Bruce Springsteen for the film Philadelphia (1993) starring Tom Hanks, an early mainstream film dealing with HIV/AIDS. Released as a single in 1994, the song was a hit in many countries, particularly in Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, and Norway, where it topped the singles charts. In the United States, the single peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. The song received acclaim and went on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song and four Grammy Awards: Song of the Year, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Vocal Performance, Solo, and Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television. In 2004, it finished at number 68 on AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs survey of top tunes in American cinema.
