ZEISS IKON ZM Leica M Mount Rangefinder This camera was just serviced in February 2020 by Zeiss in Germany. All the black exterior parts have been removed and replaced by new ones for cosmetical reasons, the leatherette too. The cocking mechanism was also replaced, this is standard procedure for this camera when sent to the Zeiss Factory for service. The camera had a full clean, adjustment and lubrification and fonction nicely. The rangefinder is clear and aligned and the lightmeter is fully working. The camera is in excellent to near mint condition all the exterior parts were replaced except the rear film door and the strap lugs. The original box, the manual, a new Zeiss strap, an extra flash plug, and some eyelets for the straps are also included. This is as close to new as it can get! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Révisée en février 2020 par Zeiss en Allemagne. This Micro Four Thirds cameras body is in superb condition. The exterior is very clean and fully intact, with only light signs of use. All buttons and functions have been tested and work properly. The viewfinder and screen are bright and clear, and the screen surface is excellent. The sensor is clean. The external flash is also almost like new and works well. The shot count is only 4045 (see last image), so this body has had very little use. When tested with a lens it is fully functional and produces excellent results. La mise au point fonctionne correctement, et le télémètre au viseur marche bien. Le viseur est clair, avec des micro-poussières habituelles, et quelques traces d'usage. La prise flash fonctionne. Les rideaux de l'obturateur sont intacts et l'intérieur de l'appareil est propre. Tested with film, in good working order. The exterior of this camera is clean and intact, with various superficial signs of use and age. The underside has been engraved by a previous owner (see image 8). The shutter fires nicely on the long and short shutter speeds, and the shutter speeds are accurate. The film advance and frame counter work nicely. The focusing functions correctly, and the rangefinder in the viewfinder works well. The viewfinder is clear, with a few minor signs of use, and a few specks of dust. The flash connector is working correctly. The shutter curtains are intact and the film chamber is clean. Tested with film and a lens, this camera is in full working order and produces excellent results. The rangefinder focusing is accurate, and the frame spacing on the film is good. It comes in the rarest alpine white finish, aged to perfection to a nice cream color. These were Greco's top of the line offerings, and are true yachts, with all the bling appointments: carved maple top, long neck tenon, block pearl inlays, PAF pickups, braided pickup leads, full-size pots with witch hat knobs, and a hand-carved bone nut. These Greco guitars have a cult following all their own, and were head and shoulders above Gibson's of the period.  This one is no exception, and plays like a dream. Neck is arrow straight and true with low action, and the original humbuckers scream. The guitar is in very nice shape, with only the light and natural exterior finish and play wear one expects of a well loved, and well cared for axe. Nikon FM 35mm SLR film camera body. Sold for parts or repair as the film advance mechanism is faulty.  Exterior: Some cosmetic wear. No corrosion, no peeling. Dioptre thread looks dented Shutter/film transport: Fires and winds on, but film advance is faulty. The winder arm will keep winding all the way through a film without stopping. The shutter can still be fired after the arm is wound on once. Shutter curtain looks OK. Speeds sound OK.  Electrical: When checked with a battery the meter works. Battery compartment good. Viewfinder/focusing screen: Dust and heavy scratch marks. Mirror good, with minor signs of use.  Lens mount: Lenses can be mounted and removed correctly.  Film chamber: needs new light seals, pressure plate OK.
