Very hard to find and RARE Ac/dc BOX set Vol 1 Complete with 6 albums Why rare? as it has the red lettered Powerage sleeve misprint and the TNT with white border. Those were only released in this very limited 1989 box set. A lot of these box sets exist in cardboard, but very few were made in this perspex plastic box. Overall super condition, see pictures for a very detailed condition. - All records seem to be unplayed and are NM. - Sleeves are all close to NM except for Dirty Deeds that has wide tape marks allover (VG), but it's not distrubing as you can see on the pictures. Powerage has a tiny seam split as you can see to the left. - Plastic box (inevitable scratches, one corner missing a part - see pictures) and inner (tears, tape and wear on sides) are VG. Original French Pressing!!!!...Rare!! *VINYL: VG+ *COVER: VG(VG+) From the liner notes of F.U.2 - Punk Rock, 2012 Reissue of the Album originally release in 1977.  F.U.2 - The Myth and the Legend by Terry Clemson aka Terry Gibson  "F.U.2, the album, has for many years been the subject of much speculation. Some refer to it as the "Secret Downliners Sect Album". It really never was........  Many theories and stories of how it came about have circulated over the years...  How it actually came about was thanks to a record producer friend of mine, Eddie Bourne. Eddie was asked to produce a Punk album, by a band called The Vacants. At the time Eddie felt the band needed augmenting for recording purposes, so he asked me to play guitar on the session...  Following on the back of the relative success of The Vacants album, I pursuaded Eddie to allow me to record a Punk album under the name F.U.2.  It all started out as a bit of a joke really. It was late 1970's that me and Keith Grant (2), of the Downliners Sect, set about to write the songs. Some of these we already had in the can that we thought would fit the bill, like "Out Of School", "Playin' My Guitar" which incidentally were later to appear on the Sects 'Showbiz' album. It wasn't long before ten other songs had been assembled and were ready to take into the studio.  As a band F.U.2 obviously never existed, so Keith and I enlisted musician friends to play on the session. Paul Holm was on drums, Robin Langridge on keyboards. Don Craine on rhythm guitar and Paul Tiller on blues harp were also co-opted to play on a couple of tracks. Ayant séjourné dans un endroit sec mais non dépourvu de poussière, les disques n'ont été nettoyés que superficiellement avant que je ne les prenne en photo. A majority of these records include performances by the greatest soloists, including violinists. An important part concerns Soviet records (SOV DISC) whose pressing were made in the former USSR with French covers. These records, in their vast majority, have never been played ! Those who were listened to it were 2/3 times at most. Having stayed in a dry place but not free of dust, the records were cleaned only superficially before I took the pictures. The cover has very minor flaws: a name or discrete initials, low wear corners, very slight ringwear. VG + + (VERY GOOD + +) More surface marks.Minor flaws or cover wear, minor edge wear. This is generally the grade given to a 20 to 50 years old record with a "normal" life, treated with care, but listened and handled regularly by his former owner. VG + (VERY GOOD +) Has been played a lot, shows multiple slight surface marks (hairlines) generating background noise between songs but no jump or skips. "Streets of Philadelphia" is a song written and performed by American rock musician Bruce Springsteen for the film Philadelphia (1993) starring Tom Hanks, an early mainstream film dealing with HIV/AIDS. Released as a single in 1994, the song was a hit in many countries, particularly in Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, and Norway, where it topped the singles charts. In the United States, the single peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. The song received acclaim and went on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song and four Grammy Awards: Song of the Year, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Vocal Performance, Solo, and Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television. In 2004, it finished at number 68 on AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs survey of top tunes in American cinema. Tracklisting: photos 2, 3, 5 2°) Martika's Kitchen est son second album. The album contained four tracks with writing and production input by Prince: Martika's Kitchen, Spirit, Love... Thy Will Be Done and Don't Say U Love Me.. Prince became involved after Martika had already recorded most of the album. She had seen the Graffiti Bridge movie several times and had contacted Prince saying the movie spoke to her and reflected things she had written in her own notebook. He recorded and submitted Love... Thy Will Be Done in December 1990, and Martika loved what she heard; her record company encouraged her to work further with Prince, and he quickly recorded further tracks. Martika's Kitchen, Spirit and Don't Say U Love Me were recorded in December 1990, or January 1991.
