This is a lovely French, light filtering Single Panel Floral window curtain. Era. 1950's Size: Width 150 cm Length 186cm A lovely lace net curtain with a floral pattern and a nice sheen to the fabric. There is a rod pocket at the top and bottom of the curtain for easy hanging on a curtain wire or rod.   There are also nine old metal 'O' rings which have been hand sewn to the curtain. I have left these on but can easily be removed. This is a lovely curtain - clean and ready to hang. There are a couple of flaws. There has been a hand sewn repair to the fabric and there is also a very faint mark. These are very hard to spot and are not seen when the curtain is hung. Please see last 2 photographs.

They have been rewired and are in full working order ready to fit. In very nice condition but with signs of age and wear as you would expect. There are a few nibbles to the edges of the porcelain flowers and one (at the bottom) has lost a couple of petals. They take E14 screw in bulbs readily available in the UK and Europe.For the US a small adapter can be bought inexpensively online to convert to E12 bulbs. The four lead glass panels are individual glass pieces, the coloured panes are on "minster" obscure glass & centrally, in each panel, is blue cabochon. Would obviously look great in a porch but would be equally as striking in Hallway. Dimensions Overall height of lantern exc chain -  66cm (26") -  height including chain 2m - can be shortened to a required length of course. Sukno Mill Wool Blanket Camel Brown Taupe Plaid. Condition is "Pre-owned". This is a small double quilt in scrap fabrics. It has been well made and has machine construction and hand quilting with star shaped motifs. The quilting is part machine part hand sewn. It is not quilted all over - just in random parts. It needs a little TLC but nothing major.  Not suitable for a perfectionist. Great for snuggles on the sofa. The top  fabric is 100% cotton with synthetic wadding and should not be ironed. The quilt dates from around 2000 and can be used on a bed or on a sofa. Fabulous old large white French pillow case.  Framed by a lines of small jours.  In one corner there is a fabulous large letter monogram with the letter C M.   Gorgeous and white.  This lovely pillow case is in light white cool cotton On the reverse, a third of the way down, is the place to insert the pillow with buttons to fasten.   Pillow size approx (laid flat) 25 1/2" x 27" (64.5  x 68.5cm) with a border of 1 3/4" (4.5cm) Lovely condition.  It is bright and white.  I can see a couple of minuscule rust stains (please see note re linens etc below) and a couple of areas where the border row of jours has come away slightly in places.  A few stitches from you clever ones out there should get that sorted quickly and easily! *Important - It must be remembered that old French linens and alike were usually very well kept and stored in fabulous grand armoires. Je mets en vente cette magnifique lampe de style Art Deco. Elle ressemble beaucoup aux lampes de Desny/Nauny, mais il n'y a aucune inscription et je ne suis pas spécialiste. Ce qui me parait étrange est que les plaques ne me semblent pas en verre mais en plexiglass. La chose est d'autant plus sûre que l'ampoule a légèrement brûlée la partie interne du plexiglass (présence de petites bulles). Aussi la prise/cordon ont été remplacés (marque Legrand). Elle est magnifique une fois allumée et présente de jolies proportions. Metal & plexiglass 20cm (H) x12cm (L) ------- Beautiful Art Deco lamp. No breakages or chips, except there maybe a little chipping around the neck, which CAN NOT be seen when the bulb holder is in place.  I have described it as honestly as I can.  Some shades may have air bubbles or marks in the glass.  Sometimes the frill is not perfectly the same all the way round.  - this is from manufacture, part of their character and age from another era when not everything came out perfectly from the factory.  These are old items, and in good vintage condition.
