Carl Zeiss Jena 180mm f2.8 Sonnar, in Pentacon Six mount, with M86/M95 filter thread adapter ring.  This vintage lens is in working condition, but it has as few problems, so sold for parts or repair. Externally there are some general signs of use, but it's in OK cosmetic condition for its age. The glass is clean and clear, and free of haze. It did have some minor signs of fungus, which have been removed and treated, but there are still some traces of it here and there. There are also few light surface marks in a few places. Overall the glass is good however. As with any used lens, there are a few minor specks of internal dust.  The focus barrel is working, the action is not smooth but it's fully functional and not stiff. The aperture blades are clean and free of oil, and the iris is usually snappy, but sometimes it's a little sluggish when stopping down - if you tilt the lens down towards the floor the iris sometimes won't stop down to the smallest apertures. When the lens is level this isn't a problem, the iris is snappy. The depth of field preview lever works well, and the rotating tripod mount also works well.  When checked on a camera the lens is functional and sharp, but it is sold for parts or repair due to the various issues mentioned.  I often have similar or compatible items for sale, see my shop for details. Here we have an example of Pentax's fast portrait lens. This is from the generation of K-mount lenses that Pentax made before introducing the "M" K-mounts: build quality is a little higher than those later lenses. Unfortunately, this one has some fungus, mainly on on the edges of the inside of the front element. I suspect the performance impact would be subtle if any is visible, but I have not tested it. There is also a dent in the filter thread, so filters are not an option. Otherwise, things are good: focus is smooth across the range, aperture selector clicks nicely at each stop, iris blades are clean and snappy, cosmetic condition (apart from the ding) is very good.  Be sure to check out my other sales. Minolta Dynax 5 35mm film SLR with Minolta 28-80mm f3.5-5.6 D zoom lens, with front cap. Sold for parts or repair as it has some faults.  This camera kit is in good external condition, with some general signs of use. When checked with batteries (not included) the camera turns on, fires well and appears to operate normally. However the function dial on the front is not working properly. It's stiff to operate, sometimes it turns easily, sometimes not. It works, but it can be quite difficult to use. The viewfinder and focusing screen have quite a few dust spots. The mirror and lens mount are good, with minor signs of use, the film chamber is clean and the shutter looks OK. The lens is in good external condition, with light signs of use. There are mildew spots and specks of dust on the internal glass. The iris blades are free of oil and snappy, the zoom and focus barrels move smoothly. The focus works well in manual or auto modes, and it looks sharp through the viewfinder. This super-speed normal lens in Minolta's SR mount is perfect for adapting to mirrorless digital use. Glass is clean and clear: no fungus, no haze, no marks that I can see. Focus is smooth, aperture ring clicks precisely. The iris blades are clean but they are *not* snappy -- they are too slow to use on an SLR and will probably result in overexposure if you try. This is *not* a problem when using the lens on a digital camera with an adapter since the iris is pre-set to the taking aperture when taking a photo. The only other problem is a slight filter thread ding that might make it hard to use filters -- I don't have a 57mm filter to try, unfortunately. Cosmetic condition is very good, minimal wear. Tamron 28-70mm f3.5-4.5 CF Macro manual focus zoom lens, with front cap. This is Olympus OM mount, compatible with Olympus 35mm OM series film SLRs (it won't fit any Olympus digital cameras). It's a Tampon Adaptall lens, so the mount can be removed and swapped for other Adaptall mounts.  This lens is in good external condition, with light wear. The screw adjustment covers (small plastic tabs) are missing from the zoom and focus barrels, as can be seen in the listing pictures, but this does not affect the operation of the lens. The glass is superb, it's clean, clear and unscratched, and free of haze and fungus. As with any used lens, there are a few minor specks of internal dust. The aperture blades are pristine, they're clean and free of oil, the iris is snappy, and the aperture ring clicks well though the stops. The zoom and focus barrels works smoothly, and the macro functions works well too. Here we have a beautiful example of Nikon's iconic fast fifty. This is the "S·C" version, which as far as I know was only made in the pre-Ai F mount. This lens does have an Ai mount, so it was presumably modified at some point: the conversion is expertly done, perhaps by Nikon itself (I think you could send in your pre-AI lenses for modification for a while). It will now work with modern Nikon SLRs and DSLRs.  Anyway, this lens is in excellent condition. Glass is clean and clear, no fungus, no haze. There is a tiny mark on the rear element (visible in the second photo) but otherwise the glass appears pristine and unmarked. Iris blades are clean and snappy. Aperture selector moves nicely, focus is even. Includes original front and rear caps (the classy old Nippon Kogaku type that feel like bakelite) and the lens's HS-1 hood.  Be sure to check out my other sales. Soligor Tele-Auto 135mm f2.8 manual focus lens, Miranda mount, with front and rear caps. Untested, sold for parts or repair. This lens is in very good external condition, with some light signs of use. The little lever sticking out of the side of the lens mount is quite loose, it looks like it needs to be tightened up. The glass is clean and unscratched, with some light signs of use, and a few internal specks of dust. The aperture blades are clean and free of oil, the iris is snappy, and the aperture ring clicks correctly through the stops. The focus is very smooth. I have not tested this lens as I don;'t have a Miranda body, so I don't know if it's fully functional or not, sold for parts or repair.
