Nikon FM 35mm SLR film camera body. Sold for parts or repair as the film advance mechanism is faulty.  Exterior: Some cosmetic wear. No corrosion, no peeling. Dioptre thread looks dented Shutter/film transport: Fires and winds on, but film advance is faulty. The winder arm will keep winding all the way through a film without stopping. The shutter can still be fired after the arm is wound on once. Shutter curtain looks OK. Speeds sound OK.  Electrical: When checked with a battery the meter works. Battery compartment good. Viewfinder/focusing screen: Dust and heavy scratch marks. Mirror good, with minor signs of use.  Lens mount: Lenses can be mounted and removed correctly.  Film chamber: needs new light seals, pressure plate OK. The exterior is in very good condition, with a small amount of paint loss which can be seen in the product photos on careful inspection. The glass is in excellent condition, and the interior is very clean with limited dust. The focusing ring turns smoothly and with no play, and the tilt and shift movements are all working perfectly. There is a tiny mark on the front element, which is only visible at certain angles. We have gone to some trouble to ensure it is plainly visible in the product photo of the front of the lens. It is a very light scuff to the anti-reflective coating on this element. We believe this will have zero impact on any photos taken with the lens, but we take a conservative approach to our descriptions! The lens is sold with both caps, the soft pouch, and the original packaging. You're welcome to inspect and collect this item in person in Lyon, or potentially elsewhere by arrangement. Hello everyone,    I’m selling my XPAN with regret in order to finance a Leica M. I have had this device for 5 years now and it has accompanied me on my most beautiful trips. It is a magical camera as much by the photographic myth it represents as by the beauty of its images. It provides grandiose images in panoramic as well as in classic 24*36 format. It is very easy to use because its internal cell measures the light superbly well an the focus could be done with the telemetric.    Its exterior condition shows some signs of wear and tear. I am not a professional seller of cameras, so to guarantee the functioning of this camera “Les Victors” in Paris revised the camera. The invoice and details of the work done are in photos of this annouce. It works perfectly and the lens is in superb condition.   For those who do not know this mythical camera: The XPan was an extremely unique camera, providing the advantages of the 35mm format but also the ability to swiftly change to full panorama format without having to change the film. The XPan utilized a dual-format, producing both full panorama 24x65mm format in addition to conventional 24x36mm format on the exact same film. It was the first dual-format 35mm camera on the market that expanded the format instead of masking it, making sure that every exposure utilized the full area of the film.
