Marantz PM4 An excellent amp in very good condition and full working order.  Performs according to specs. This has been tested on a Audio Precision tester (see images of THD + Freq. response). Built in the the 80s in class A mode it's truly amazing with Living Voice and similarly efficient speakers only 15 watts in class A so wont drive hard loads or inefficient speakers to ear splitting levels but can be put into class a b mode for 60 watts. This one has been recapped with Silmic 2 Caps and had new modern binding posts fitted by Deco Audio around 3 years ago. The volume control works 100% no crackles hisses etc but it does require to be handled with care as it was rebuilt again by Deco Audio rather than replacing it. Its a truly epic performer in Class A mode with real grunt allied to a well balanced and resolved sound that is not fatiguing. This amp will outperform many far more expensive amps. The Lavardin IT at 6k shown below it is what i had to spend to replace it it's that good. Ampli Stéréo TECHNICS SU-V45A Class AA VC-4 2x45W (8 ohms) VINTAGE Très bon état. 420W de consommation, ça vous donne une idée du potentiel de puissance. MADE IN JAPAN L'ampli est très ancien, il n'a pas été révisé car il a toujours bien fonctionné, du à l'excellente fabrication de la fin des années 80, début 90 (les meilleures en analogique, maintenant, c'est sûr, le numérique a remplacé avantageusement parfois), mais vous pouvez toujours lui donner un coup de jeunesse en le faisant réviser. Ça vaut le coup, l'électronique sur ces amplis est simple. La qualité TECHNICS est variable, ils ne font pas toujours dans la "délicatesse", mais pour de la musique techno (ce que j'écoute) c'est vraiment super. Même ce "petit" ampli peut driver des enceintes puissantes. Il peut saturer cependant à très haut volume, on peut aisément remplacer les composants pour améliorer la qualité, et pour pas cher. J'illustre une utilisation possible, le portable n'est pas vendu avec. PAR CONTRE, J'OFFRE LES DEUX ENCEINTES BIBLIOTHÈQUES JAMO S602, excellentes basses, réputation de la marque.
