Moosapotomus recreation of the classic 70's A/DA flanger. It's been sitting in a box a few years, half-built, hopefully someone can use it.. it's a shame for it to go to waste, one of the best flanger designs of all time. I'll never have the time to finish it unfortunately. He adapted this circuit to use the MN3007 chip and has an onboard charge pump to feed it 18V from a standard 9V supply. You would need an MN3007 chip (they are being produced again, or go NOS) and your stompswitch of choice, then just drill the enclosure and wire it up. Everything else is there - all the other IC's, pots, knobs, in/out/pwr and expression jacks, standoffs etc. Only top quality parts - Alpha, Wima, Panasonic, Bourns etc. Hammond 1590DD enclosure. All component level soldering completed and flux has been cleaned. Gold plated sockets for all IC's. This a complex a complex build, well compared to a fuzz or OD anyway. Minolta AF macro RS 50/2.8. Excellent standard macro. Le piqué est impressionnant au centre à la pleine ouverture. Il excelle en macro, mais en fermant à f8 il est homogène pour du paysage: belles couleurs, image contrastée, bonne résistance au flare.  La finition RS permet une meilleure prise en main de la bague frontale (mise au point manuelle, indispensable en macro). Comme tous les objectifs macro, la lentille est profondément en retrait (pas besoin de pare-soleil) et l'objectif s'allonge en mode macro pour atteindre le rapport 1:1. Il est presque identique au Sony 50/2.8 macro (même construction optique). Conçu pour les appareils photos Minolta et Sony A, il fonctionne en autofocus. Il en sera de même sur un Sony E/FE avec les bagues AF LA-EA2 et LA-EA4. Sur une une bague LA-EA1 ou LA-EA3, il n'y a pas d'AF, mais tout le reste fonctionne (réglage de l'ouverture depuis l'appareil, EXIF). Pour de la macro, le réglage manuel est suffisant et plus aisé. C'est un objectif plein format (75mm en APS-C, ce qui est encore plus intéressant en macro). Mon exemplaire est dans un très bel état externe, mécanique et optique. The sharpness is impressive in the center at full aperture. It excels at macro, but when closed at f8 it is uniform for landscape: beautiful colors, contrasting image, good flare resistance.  The RS finish allows a better grip of the front ring (manual focus, essential in macro). Like all macro lenses, the frontal lens is deeply recessed (no need for a hood) and the lens extends in macro mode to reach the 1:1 ratio. It is almost identical to the Sony 50/2.8 macro (same optical construction). Designed for Minolta and Sony A cameras, it works in autofocus. The same will be true on a Sony E/FE with the AF rings LA-EA2 and LA-EA4. On a LA-EA1 or LA-EA3 ring, there is no AF, but everything else works (aperture setting from the camera, EXIF). For macro photography, manual adjustment is sufficient and easier. This is a full format lens (75mm in APS-C, which is even more interesting for macro). My copy is in a very nice external, mechanical and optical condition. Delivered with its two caps and its original packaging.

Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II 20,1 Mpix in a good condition with some very minor scratches, but the lens covers are detached (i will give the parts), maybe because of this from time to time the camera will shut down itself but you can turn on again and will working again - probably because of the dusts inside the lens. Oh, the tragedy. This looks like a very nice AF35M, but the previous owner left the batteries in it. One came out, but the other is wedged in -- as you can see, I tried to pull it out by destroying a bit of the end of the battery to get a better grip on it with pliers. No luck. Probably disassembly is required. Everything else about the camera looks good, but the film door release is stiff, probably because the swollen battery is pressing against the mechanism.

You've seen my experimentation with Copper rods (still ongoing, with more blogging to come...) alongside conventional acoustic treatments within a listening space. This is a fantastic, and inexpensive tweak. The copper brings openness, naturalness and enhances dynamics. Even a well acoustically treated room. That was my first unconventional means of attacking a common problem. inexpensive to try, and I make no money from it. It is simply me sharing something that brings more excitement to the listening experience. A 1/2b'"' copper rod suspended from my ceiling. Playing The FieldThen there are the crystal based products. Not necessarily cheap, but that is about to change... For the crystal based products there are of course Jack B's latest inventions: Room Neutralizers, Quantum Signal Enhancers. Let's not forget the Stein Harmonizer system, Synergistic Research HFT, UEF, Audio Magic P.E.A. and PulseGen technology. All of these use crystals, resonance and either are energized by or produce a b'"'fieldb'"' that enhances certain aspects of music reproduction. All do something to the sound, or to the listener perhaps, that enhances or at the very least changes the sonics of a system and/or room. These have all been an inspiration of sorts, and I have listened to them all. I have much respect for these manufacturers. It takes hundreds, even thousands of hours and tens of thousands of dollars to develop a product such as this. That's before one dime is made. Think about that the next time you read or hear someone bashing a manufacturer for egregious pricing in light of parts count and cost. It's the original idea, the research, the time, and money invested beforehand with no guarantee of return. This needs to be calculated into the MSRP in addition to the material cost of production. Then one has to project how many will be sold (good luck with that in the audio industry) and hopefully come up with a number that will produce a reasonable profit. But I digress.... Great integrated amplifier, comes with the optional wireless card (worth of 300 euros!) and the optional remote, sold separately for 45 euros. It was a secondary system that was not been used much, in perfect working condition and looks. Great DAC on the wireless side of CD quality without compression (16 bits / 44 kHz) and also an excellent headphone output. I'm also throwing in the CD50 player that it worked absolutely perfectly until recently, when it no longer turns on. I took a look inside, but everything seems in order, no burnt parts, I don't know what could be the cause and I don't have time, someone else could fix it and use it, it sounds great and it cost about 650 euros!
