Gorgeous vintage french cream

Gorgeous, vintage, wool, green and cream, trader style, thick, luxurious, VGC. Condition is "Pre-owned". original silk binding (some patina), some small imperfections (see photo of small thinning spot, hardly noticeable), beautiful condition for age.  This blanket has been well stored, is clean, non-smoking, no pets household.  Definitely heirloom condition. Very warm and soft. This is a rare color in this brand. 

French vintage cage style ceiling light in cream and red with leaf  decoration.The light is made up in a round cage formation with scrolled detail to the top of the cage. It is decorated with leaves which have been painted red. The bulb holder hangs in the centre of the cage and is covered with a leaf decoration. The light hangs with from a 5 link chain a bar and cup style ceiling rose.   French Bed Sheet  New Vintage Cotton Embroidery or Curtain 2m x 2.8    Top sheet   base sheet  or would also make superb curtain with the simple addition of either a tube or rufflette. Machine Embroidery Floral in centre & unworked  ladder edge across the width     At the moment it is  in its original unbleached condition cream /ecru  coloured BUT will wash whiter with every wash & will need a good long soak before a machine wash to remove the stiffening product as is normal with all new linens of this quality. CONDITION Stored with storage marks that will disappear & will wash whiter with each wash.SEE PHOTOS  As with all new linens initially will need a good soak to remove finishing product & marks.     What is metis linen? Pretty vintage French tole ware double wall light in bright colours. The back plate is cream in a floral shape. From the back plate come the two curved arms each leading to leaf shaped candle drip holders and the candle drips are cream plastic. The sconce is decorated with stems with bright green leaves and two flowers one in shades of yellow and orange and the other in shades of purple with a yellow centre. This pretty sconce would look good in many room settings adding a touch of French country charm to your home decoration.   This gorgeous pair of curtains in traditional Toile de Jouy is named " Pastorale" Boussac Romanex in medium to lightweight pure cotton, they are hand finished & would look great in any room and are in excellent condition with rufflette heading, freshly laundered & ready to hang.  Complete with 18 metal hooks & two tie backs that have a pink satin ribbon trim, which could be changed to match their new owner's decor. Unlined Literally translating to "Cloth from Jouy" (a little town near Versailles), this famous, pretty printed fabric is an important part of French history and savoir-faire. Along with idyllic, romantic landscape scenes, toile patterns were also used to tell a story. Some referenced tales of European mythology and others mirrored major events of the time. For the printing process, vignettes were originally carved on woodblocks, and after 1770, engraved on copper plates. MEASUREMENTS of each curtain    Length  2.7 meters = 106 ins with a 6 ins hem. Gorgeous, so elegantly French, beautiful wall 'appliques'.  Beautiful  almost ormolu colour..  Such elegance!  Heavy and very good quality They measure approx 11 1/4" (28.5cm) in length.  The wiring is good - it looks new.   (It is always generally advised to get electrical items checked and fitted by a qualified person.)  There are a few nibbles on the top of the  'candles' s to each light as to be expected with age - so they look, perfectly aged in my view!  They are also different on each light as often happens.. These are really beautiful  wall sconce's.  They could go anywhere in the house.  Beside the bed, in a hall way over a hallway table...  I personally like them when they are set at different levels or perhaps in a bathroom to add a superb touch of elegance!  But that is just my preference... To put these wherever you want - don't forget, you can actually have long wires put onto these, and then simply plug them into a socket. You cover the flex in a long tube of ruffled material to disguise it a little and that way - they can go wherever you want them to! These will be sent by registered post. Feel free to ask questions.
