Pédale de distorsion ARION SMM-1 made in Japan 80's. Il s'agit de la série originale à boîtier gris. Dimensions: 12 x 7 x 4cm hors boutons, 303 grs sans pile. Elle a vécu mais à part le couvercle de pile bricolé reste en bon état. J'ai et ai eu pas mal d'Arion, tous les boîtiers plastique ont bien tenu le coup! Par contre la diode témoin a rendu l'âme. Réglages: level, low (100hz), high (1500hz), disto. Comme la plupart des Arion, il y a un petit sélecteur b'"'directb'"' et b'"'softb'"' pour choisir entre les 2 sorties. En sortie low je trouve le son b'"'boxyb'"'. En sortie normale, disto vigoureuse, curieusement je trouve que plus on met de disto plus le son est droit et défini...Tranche bien dans un mix. Les réglages sont assez sensibles, il faut y aller doucement pour trouver son son. Les potentiomètres peuvent craquer un peu à la manipulation, la pédale a pris la poussière...ça devrait s'atténuer et disparaître à l'usage. S'accorde bien avec d'autres pédales, une overdrive ou disto sonnant plus rond placée devant en particulier. On trouve des démos sur le net, dont une comparaison avec une HM2. MXR Distortion + 80's in very good condition, it's from 1981 if i remember correctly, it's written on the pots anyway and if it's important to you, ask me and i will check it again. it has the famous chip UA741CP like the early DOD 250, it's basically the same pedal except it has different resistance, this one has germanium and the DOD 250 has silicon but for me they sound similar, i have both, the MXR has less gain and is a bit more fuzzy because of the germanium pieces inside but anyway it's the same pedal Randy Rhoads used and early Iron Maiden too, it sounds marvelous for bluesy stuff in my Marshall Plexi amp but it can do heavy metal too... For those who wonder why it is so expensive, it's because it's the real deal, not the new ones who sounds very bad even if they have the same circuit, i know because i had one, i think it's because of the age, i always preferred my vintage pedals because they all have a special mojo that the new ones don't have, i also have a vintage Ibanez TS9 and i had the new one too and it's not the same thing, there's a reason people are buying vintage pedals... Pédale de distorsion PEARL DS-06 made in Japan début 80's. Dimensions: 13,5cm x 7,6cm, 474 grs sans pile. En bon état esthétique et parfait fonctionnement. Boîtier métal très solide. Réglages standard niveaux de sortie et distortion, plus un sélecteur de 6 modes et son réglage de niveau (dose les graves) qui remplacent (avantageusement) la tonalité. En fait on a une disto de base, assez b'"'P Ratb'"'. Le sélecteur donne des courbes de réponse différentes, à doser avec le niveau associé. On a le choix entre les bas médium chargés jusqu'au aigus en avant, et toujours dosable. C'est particulier mais rend la pédale assez polyvalente. La disto et le niveau de sortie interagissent peu, par contre la disto et le niveau b'"'spectrumb'"' sont très liés. Le tout s'éclaircit très bien au volume sur la guitare. Cette Pearl ressemble fort aux Yamaha et Korg de la même époque, mais a l'avantage de disposer d'une prise pour alim externe 9v. Pédale MORIAE Spinel Distortion, made in Japan avec mention b'"'handmadeb'"'. Petit boîtier alu épais L 11,5cm l 6,5cm h 4cm hors boutons mais avec ses patins, 280grs sans pile. Moriae est une de ces nouvelles marques japonaises de ce siècle et fait de l'excellent matériel à prix (relativement) accessible. Réglages classiques 3 boutons volume, tone et gain. Pas de son clair, même gain à zéro. Level et gain sont peu interractifs, les deux ont une grosse réserve. La tonalité a également une plage de réglage bien large. Le son est très droit et peu devenir assez agressif selon les réglages. Bonne grosse disto typée b'"'moderneb'"'. Pédale assez rare, je n'ai pas trouvé d'avis et une seule démo pas très explicite. Réglages 3 boutons level, gain et.. gain! Les deux gains produisent un effet différent, genre ondes arrondies et ondes carrées ou quelque chose comme çà. A mes oreilles, la un sonne plus rond et à l'ancienne et la 2 plus raide et moderne. L'intérêt est de pouvoir mélanger les deux à volonté (et cumuler, tout à donf ça dépote). While the first - voltage gain - stage is based on an integrated circuit of the highest audio pedigree, the second - power gain - stage is a single-ended, pure Class-A amplifier. It enables the CanAmp to drive virtually any headphones from 8 ohms up to 600 ohms. As its output power (at 8 ohm) is nearly 1W, the CanAmp could drive even a high-sensitivity loudspeaker! The unit has no internal wiring, and the signal path is kept to a minimum on its PCB. Its high-quality, 1 dB-tolerance Blue Alps volume pot goes through a further selection process during manufacturing to achieve an even tighter, 0.5 dB tolerance.
