Focus is smooth, aperture selector clicks precisely, iris blades are clean and snappy. Nikon front and rear caps included. Only used a couple of times since purchase in 2014. This early (1960, I believe) Nikkor-P 10.5 cm lens is in excellent condition except for a dent in the filter ring. You cannot mount a filter properly as is, though a fix should be relatively simple. Il a été très certainement beaucoup utilisé. Il présente des égratignures sur le fut extérieur et des marques d'usures. Surtout, la lentille avant est fendue et le paresoleil légèrement déformé, du fait d'une chute très certainement. Son poids s'élève à plus de 6 kilos et peut surprendre. Toutefois ceci n'altère pas la qualité des images prises de manière sensible (cf. photos). / Above all, the front lense is plit and the camera hood is slightly deformed, because of a fall most certainly. Nikon AF Nikkor ED 300mm f4 autofocus prime lens, with front and rear caps. In good condition and in full working order, though the focus can be noisy (details below). Externally this lens is in very nice condition, with only light signs of use. The glass is also good, it's clean, clear and free of haze and fungus. There is one tiny mark on the front element, which doesn't affect image quality, and it's otherwise unmarked. As with any used lens, there are a few specks of internal dust. The aperture blades are excellent, they're clean and free of oil, the aperture ring clicks well through the stops and the iris is snappy. The AF servo motor can be noisy - sometimes the screw-drive gear makes a high-pitched noise when refocusing between near and far subjects (or vice versa). This is apparently a common problem on this lens, but it shouldn't affect performance. The autofocus is accurate, but the noise could be disturbing if, for example, you're photographing wildlife. In manual focus the gear will make a similar high-pitched noise if you focus quickly. For normal fine focusing it doesn't make this noise, you have to move the barrel quite quickly to provoke it. In any case, I have set a lower price to reflect the issue. The removable filter holder works well and the included Nikon L37c is in good condition, with minor signs of use. The built-in hood is slightly dented but also still works very well. When tested the lens produces sharp, contrasty images. I often have similar or compatible items for sale, see my shop for details. Nikon D40 Boitier Kit complet. Nikon 24mm Ais - . État : Occasion No marks, no haze, no dust, no fungus whether on the front or rear lens. The Barrel is clear. The aperture ring is smooth. The focussing ring also. The lens is in a very good condition. Something was glue on the plate of the rear ring, I don't know why. It doesn't affect the pictures and the use of the lens. D’un point de vue optique, on regrette de legere traces de champignon a l’intérieur, qui n’impacte pas la qualité des images.
