It is used and not in a perfect cosmetic shape as you can see on the pictures but it sounds very very good. I'm selling it with regrets but I have to get funds to buy a new amp A non fuctioning LED has been replaced as well as the speed potentiometer who didn’t work well. Sony PS-X70 (1978-1979) Stereo Turntable System Fully Automatic Direct Drive READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY ! This turntable belonged to my father, he bought it in the early 80s. I had to disassemble a wooden cabinet to take it out, and it probably saved it from the dump. It's in fully working condition, I've been using it a little for the past years, with an amplifier (also for sale, check my items) and a pair of speakers from the same era. You can see it in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oKFJ5RfOVE Turntable is perfectly silent, stroboscope is steady at both 33 and 45 RPM, disc format selector and pitch potentiometer works as intended, as well as all the settings to adjust the position and balance of the arm. /!/ I'm not sure if the lever to lower the arm works 100% properly, after a long period without using the turntable, the arm takes a while to go down (works perfectly to raise the arm however) /!/ /!/ The phono cable is old and the housing is a little damaged, still works perfectly but a purist may want to replace it /!/ A few marks here and here but overall in excellent cosmetic condition. The transparent top case is in good condition and stays up as intended by the hinges. The turntable is 100% genuine, apart from the needle that I changed a few years ago by a cheap one but wich works well. It's sold with the genuine owner's manual in english, french, german and spanish languages (almost impossible to find nowadays). It also comes with the genuine aluminium adaptor for 45T discs. I also give a few accessories with it: - a carbon fiber cleaner to clean the dust from discs - a tiny spirit level to check the level of the turntable - a small brush to clean the needle (Sony brand, vintage) - the needle that was installed on the arm when I found the turntable (not in good condition, just for reference) The turntable weights aproximately 13kg. Genuine sought after KLEMT Echolette BS40 in perfect working condition.  Early Marshall-type sounding machine (think old Jtm 45 style) made in Germany, all original, this great Amp delivers 40W of pure quality sound either for Bass or Guitar. Think British beat era, Hamburg boys.. early Yardbirds, Beatles, Kinks, Small Faces, Easybeats kind of bands that all certainly played on those ones..  It has a real clear and pure sound, with a lot of presence. Makes any guitar really shine.  And loves any pedal or thing you would add in the input ring. Just tried it back the recent days to give it a full check before putting on sell: anything works as it should, I think I already hate seeing it go away..  need to finance new projects and this beauty deserves to be played.
