Toutes les fonctions sont évidemment testées et validées: avance rapide, retour rapide, Stop et Eject en présence de la cassette,  bouton Hot Line qui permet de passer un message à son compagnon d'écoute par le micro (fonctionnel): le volume de la musique diminue automatiquement pour permettre la délivrance du message, les 2 prises Jack sont ok ainsi que les 2 contrôles du volume (droit et gauche). L' alimentation se fait par 2 piles standards ou par alimentation externe (testé). Le ruban du compartiment pile est présent.
