HLI is a leader in home tuition: 1:1 and 2:1 EFL immersion programmes, delivered in teachers' own homes. Our Host Tutors teach students between three and six hours per day and provide a hospitable and welcoming host family environment. Courses generally last one or two weeks, though occasionally longer. Students are all ages - from ten to seventy plus - and come from many different countries around the world. All are motivated by the opportunity to quickly learn English in a unique, family environment, together with a top-quality Host Tutor. If you have a recognised ELT qualification (such as the CELTA or Cert TESOL), we can offer you courses with all age groups. If you have a relevant PGCE (Primary, MFL or English), we can offer you courses with Young Learners (10 - 17). Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications •A homeowner or occupier •Proficient English speaker •Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience, and •CELTA / Trinity TESOL or equivalent, or •PGCE in English or Modern Foreign Languages, or •PGCE (Primary), or •ELT experience coupled with another TEFL qualification (each case considered individually) •Excellent communication skills •A sound knowledge of effective language teaching techniques and how these may be applied to teaching young learners For more information visit our website, at https://www.hli.co.uk Education: •Bachelor's (Preferred) Licence: •Recognised teaching qualification (Required) Language: English - Proficient user / Native level (Required)
