It is with a very heavy heart that I am placing the we buy Elvis website up for sale. Unfortunately for health and personal reasons I can no longer give it the attention it deserves.  This would be superb for a serious collector looking to generate items or a dealer looking to generate more stock leads. Everything that I have ever bought or dealt in over the last eight years have been generated via enquiries through the website.Regular customers will know that I have sold many many thousands of Elvis items.  If you google our website we come first. If you google who buys Elvis collections we always come up on the first page in google. This has taken along time and a lot of hard work to get the web address to this stage.  I have owned the web address for around eight years. The address in its present format was re designed around three years ago. The website is a bespoke site built with PHP. It has a content management system that enables you to add pages, edit text and images and edit search engine fields. It is mobile responsive so that it adjusts to different size screens The web site was designed and built by the highly regarded Blue line media in Cheltenham,Gloucestershire.U.K.   Hosting has been paid for the next year and the SSL security certificate has been paid for.  I also have around 14,000 (retail value) worth of Elvis items that I might include in some sort of sale.I will only do anything through e bay to conform with their rules.  I am asking 4000 euros for the web site which is pretty much what it cost to have built so somebody is getting an absolute bargain. I am open to offers as I do need to sell.  I will also close down the Facebook page and rename my two e bay sites once a sale is concluded.  I welcome any questions you may have.

*** 4 Classic GOON SHOWs from BBC Transcription Service *** Talking about the influence of The Goon Shows on the British comedy that followed it, The Wikipedia entry states: - Eddie Izzard notes that the Goons and Milligan in particular b'"'influenced a new generation of comedians who came to be known as 'alternative'.b'"' John Cleese [of Monty Python fame] notes that b'"'In comedy, there are a very small number of defining moments when somebody comes along and genuinely creates a breakthrough, takes us into territory where nobody has been before. DURING THE 1970’s, the glorious Sunshine State of Georgia had been a fertile breeding ground for home grown Southern Rock nurturing, amongst others, the Allman Brothers Band, Grinderswitch and the Atlanta Rhythm Section. Doc Holliday, although not as universally well known as those big selling, stubble sporting whiskey soaked troubadours, were an important, nay essential, addition to that linage of respected and revered musicians. Developing a reputation as one of the hottest acts on what was affectionately termed the chittlin’ circuit DH, or Roundhouse as they had been known, eventually courted the ears of various power players in the record business. Wined and dined by the cigar chomping executives at A&M Records they were eventually signed to a major contract in 1980. Introduced to renowned English record producer ‘Colonel’ Tom Allom (Judas Priest, Strawbs, Nantucket) the coupling appeared an unlikely marriage but the natural  bonhomie of both parties proved hugely infectious helping to create one of the most impressive debut albums from a Southern Rock band since the glory days of the Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd. EX++ the cd looks really fine but you can see (under a light if you check carefully) few minor surface marks. Usually light details but that is enough to see the cd not new. EX+ the cd is still in great condition but you can see more little surface marks (always light, not deep) and they are easier to see. EX or EX- cd has many scratches but still not deep. no damage. Cd plays fine. less than EX- when the condition is less than EX I don t grade it VG because in french "VG" means "VERY GOOD" and I can t say a cd with many visible scratches is in very good condition. so under Ex/EX-, I will only describe the cd condition with words like: "many visible surface marks or many scratches or deep scratches" all the CD I list plays fine despite their condition less than EX. anyway if one day a cd doesn t play fine, the buyer can send it back and get a refund. if a cd has scratches they go through silver layer and usual we can see they from both sides of the CD I usually don t sell it or damages will be described in item s condition.
