Up for sale is a near mint example of the latest and greatest Audio Analogue AA Phono Stage. Picking up where the Aria left off, the AA Phono preserves the Audio Analogue house sound (fluid and tonally rich, with a touch of tube like warmth - but solid-state speed and bass depth), but adds extra soundstage width, focus, and much blacker, quieter backgrounds. Flexibility is top notch with absolutely every possible cartridge load and capacitance catered for - including very low output MC cartridges. Setup is very quick and easy via two rows of switches on either side of the unit, right below the front plate. Build quality is second to none, both inside (3 toroidal transformers, dual mono construction, high quality subsonic filter and shielding) and outside (the design, fit and finish are a joy for the eyes). Output protection circuit and 6 replacement mute transistors for Kurzweil K2000. All 6 outputs of K2000 series synthesizer have a transistor across outputs to reduce the power-on pops. Very often the static electricity coming from output cables will destroy these transistors. This was a poor design of output stage for earlier series of K2000 synthesizer. When they fail there will still be some audio output from affected output circuit but very low and clipping and there will be a negative voltage on the tip of the output jack. When plug in a cable into a jack with a blown J-FET transistor, it will pop loudly on audio stage. One shorted FET transistor can make all the outputs of the synth sound wrong as it will drag down the negative unmute voltage  One wrong solution is to pop-out all the mute transistors bearing the loud power-on pops and and risking further destroying of the synthesizer.   The good solution is this kit (manufactured upon original Kurzweil schematics) intended to solve permanently this problem with an active protection of the mute transistors against static electricity or voltage spikes and biases. The 6 transistors are enough to change all the mute transistors of the synth if you are unsure which one has a problem. The kit will come with full photos and schematics for installation.
