Demo here: https://youtu.be/GSebDXf9rP4 Here are the specs: The MAM MB33 Retro is the latest version of the MB33 / FAT FREEBASS clone of the infamous Roland TB-303. As standard it features all of the original TB-303 controls, and also has an external audio input through the filter and VCA. Overlapping midi notes gives you that essential 303 note slide, and any midi note with a velocity of 120 or more will trigger the note accent. Realistically if this synth was programmed correctly, you would be VERY hard pressed to distinguish between this unit and a real 303 in a mix. In a side by side comparison i'd say it sounds a little meatier than the Behringer TD3, with a little more girth and analogue weight to the sound. We have modded this machine with our circuitbenders Acid FM mods to give a huge range of extra sounds, without diluting the essential TB-303 character. MODS INCLUDE: VCO On/Off Switch: Normally when you plug a jack into the external VCF input, the MB33's VCO is automatically removed from the mix. As there may be occasions where you don't want this to happen, or situations such as when you're using the filter lock mod (see below) when you want to be able to turn the VCO on and off yourself, we've added a switch to add manual control of this. VCO Drive: The MB33 retro seems to be designed to slightly distort the output stage at full volume, much like the TB303 did. The Drive mod boosts this distortion savagely for some grungy acid techno sounds. This mod increases the maximum amount of distortion at maximum volume. The intensity of the distortion can be set using the normal volume knob. Resonance Boost Switch: An annoying issue with these machines is that the resonance never reaches self oscillation (but then neither did the TB303) and also drops off considerably when the cutoff is over 3/4 of the way up. We've solved this problem by adding the resonance boost switch. With this switch activated the filter starts to squeal with the resonance about halfway up, and then just screams with self oscillation at any higher settings. The resonance boost is especially effective when used with the VCF FM mods. VCF FM: Essentially VCF FM (Frequency Modulation) allows you to modulate the filter cutoff at audio frequencies to create all kinds of clanging cross modulation and bizarre alien splatters & sweeps. This effect works best with the resonance cranked up into self oscillation which is where the resonance boost mod comes into play. The FM controls allow you to select one of four sources for the FM signal. The first is the normal filter input socket round the back. This means you can run a sound through the filter section, but also use that sound to modulate the filter cutoff at audio frequencies at the same time. The second source is a new FM input jack on the right hand side of the case. Using this source allows you to run a sound through the filter from the VCF input or just use the internal VCO, and at the same time modulate the filter cutoff with an entirely independent sound source at the FM in jack. The actual audio from the FM in jack is not heard. The remaining two sources are the sawtooth and square wave signal from the main oscillator. These can be selected as sources completely independently of the setting on the VCO waveform knob The FM source select knob also has an 'off' setting. The amount of FM applied to the VCF is controlled using the VCF FM knob. VCF CV input: This mods adds 3.5mm jack on the right side of the machine that will accept an external CV to control the filter cutoff. The CV input should range from 0-5v. Includes original remote control. This unit is a type of preamplifier in that you canuse it to control the volume from line input devices like CD players, tuners,tape decks, etc. It also has a graphic equalizer with 5 memory settings and you can control all the frequencies of the EQ from the remote control whichis something I have not seen before. You can switch to a real time spectrum analyzer display which will move to the music. Other features include JVC's SEA "acoustic expander" which does exactly what you'd expect. The EQ has 5 memory settings and a reverse setting aswell which instantly give you the exact opposite eq curve. Allbuttons, controls, features, and display are working correctly. Shows very little wear. All buttons on remote are working correctly- the remote can control other JVC components as well. On the back are three line inputs- one labelled Audio, one labelled Video 1, and one labelled Video 2/3. Youcould use these inputs for a tuner, a CD deck, and a tape deck. There are also two sets of stereo outputs. In order to use the EQ and graphic display and volume control all at the same time you need to loop the outputlabelled "Line Out" into the "Remote Contro In"- am including the JVC instruction book and the original remote controller for this purpose. Motor rotor velocity, another rumble originator, is precisely governed by a dependable Wein Bridge transistorized oscillator. It's frequency is varied exactly (by a gold plated switch) to change the speed of the motor and these adjustments may be viewed instantly on the built-in stroboscope. Motor rotor speed on the TD-125 has been reduced to an incomparable 250rpm at 33 1/3rpm turntable speed. By combining this factor with solid-state circuitry and the Wein Bridge oscillator, Thorens has reduced rumble to an infinitesimal and inaudible -48db (-68db weighted); less rumble than any other turntable on the market! The tonearm and turntable platter of the TD-125 are mounted on an independent chassis. This unit is then shock mounted to another chassis which houses the drive system and controls. As a consequence the tonearm is protected against shocks when the controls are operated and acoustic feedback is minimised because of the absence of vibrations. Vibrations are further decreased by the precision polished, self-lubricating bearings of the turntable platter. This Rolleiflex 3.5 F appears to be fully functional and is in good user condition. - Lenses are clean and clear: no fungus, no haze, no marks. - Shutter fires on all speeds. - Meter is working and accurate. - Aperture works properly. - Selectors and controls feel good. - Focus is smooth across the range. - Back opens neatly and closes tightly. - Wind-on is smooth. My understanding is that this camera's back is equipped with a special pressure plate that can accept a glass insert to maximize film flatness (hence the bulge towards the bottom of the back). However, the glass plate is not present (the camera can be used normally without the glass insert). Minolta X-300. Mint. Fully working No Scratch. Optics: no dusts / haze / fungus X-700 en 1982, X-500 en 1983, X-300 en 1984. Minolta élargit sa gamme "X" en proposant un appareil plus basique. Le X-300 est un petit frère du X-500. Il garde le semi-automatisme et la priorité à l'ouverture, mais perd le TTL au flash. Le capot et les commandes sont redessinées. Il s'agit d'un appareil très simple à utiliser. Le passage de l'automatisme au semi-automatisme se fait en tournant dans la continuité le barillet des vitesses. Un gros interrupteur électrique évite tout oubli consommateur d'énergie. Même si le bouton s'avère un peu petit, la mémorisation de l'exposition est facilement activable. —————- X-700 in 1982, X-500 in 1983, X-300 in 1984. Minolta is expanding its "X" range by offering a more basic device. The X-300 is a little brother of the X-500. It keeps semi-automatic and aperture priority, but loses flash TTL. A large electric switch avoids any forgetfulness consuming energy. Even if the button turns out to be a little small, the exposure memorization is easily activated.
