Another breakthrough during this decade was Beomaster 1900, a radio receiver and amplifier launched in 1976. Once again, design and operation differed dramatically from other contemporary products. Originally designed by Jacob Jensen, Beomaster 1900, together with Beomaster 2400-2 were two advanced FM stereo receivers. They had identical technical specification and performance. Both were easy to use and easy to live with. Beomaster 2400-2 had the additional convenience of a cordless ultrasonic remote control module by which you could operate radio, amplifier and Beogram 2400 or 4004 record deck from a distance. Both receivers had touch-sensitive controls for operating the features and functions you used every day. All the secondary switches and adjustments were protected beneath a hinged lid, but an illuminated readout panel showed you the set's operational status at a glance. Beomaster 1900 boasted a powerful 2 x 30 watts RMS amplifier with distortion of less than 0,13%, five pre-set FM stations and comprehensive connection facilities. To operate it you simply touch the application "dimples" on the set's front panel. The radio section had 4 pre-set stations which could be summoned at a touch and the phase-lock loop decoder provided excellent stereo separation even in difficult reception conditions The volume level could be pre-set at low, medium or high, and the music would always start at this level however much the volume control was altered last time the set was used. This super-speed normal lens in Minolta's SR mount is perfect for adapting to mirrorless digital use. Glass is clean and clear: no fungus, no haze, no marks that I can see. Focus is smooth, aperture ring clicks precisely. The iris blades are clean but they are *not* snappy -- they are too slow to use on an SLR and will probably result in overexposure if you try. This is *not* a problem when using the lens on a digital camera with an adapter since the iris is pre-set to the taking aperture when taking a photo. The only other problem is a slight filter thread ding that might make it hard to use filters -- I don't have a 57mm filter to try, unfortunately. Cosmetic condition is very good, minimal wear. Includes genuine Minolta front and rear caps. Be sure to check out my other sales. Sony A7R Full Spectrum (Infrared) with Sony LA-EA4 and Sony Zeiss Lens 16-80mm. Condition is "Used". Shipped with UPS Ground Mail. This is a 1st generation Sony A7R full frame camera converted to full spectrum, allowing for infrared photography. I am including 3 additional filters: 62mm Hoya R72 (720nm), KolariVision 62mm Infrared Astrophotography, and a Hot Mirror filter also from KolariVision. The NM filter allows you to use the camera with natural light as if no conversion occurred. I am also including the pistol grip that allows the use of 2x Sony batteries at once. Lastly I am including an LA-EA4 autofocus adapter to allow this E Mount camera to use Sony Alpha lenses. Condition of the camera is very good. Perhaps 5k-7k actuations. This is my second IR camera. As standard it features all of the original TB-303 controls, and also has an external audio input through the filter and VCA. Overlapping midi notes gives you that essential 303 note slide, and any midi note with a velocity of 120 or more will trigger the note accent. Realistically if this synth was programmed correctly, you would be VERY hard pressed to distinguish between this unit and a real 303 in a mix. In a side by side comparison i'd say it sounds a little meatier than the Behringer TD3, with a little more girth and analogue weight to the sound. We have modded this machine with our circuitbenders Acid FM mods to give a huge range of extra sounds, without diluting the essential TB-303 character. MODS INCLUDE: VCO On/Off Switch: Normally when you plug a jack into the external VCF input, the MB33's VCO is automatically removed from the mix. As there may be occasions where you don't want this to happen, or situations such as when you're using the filter lock mod (see below) when you want to be able to turn the VCO on and off yourself, we've added a switch to add manual control of this. VCO Drive: The MB33 retro seems to be designed to slightly distort the output stage at full volume, much like the TB303 did. The Drive mod boosts this distortion savagely for some grungy acid techno sounds. This mod increases the maximum amount of distortion at maximum volume. The intensity of the distortion can be set using the normal volume knob. Resonance Boost Switch: An annoying issue with these machines is that the resonance never reaches self oscillation (but then neither did the TB303) and also drops off considerably when the cutoff is over 3/4 of the way up. We've solved this problem by adding the resonance boost switch. With this switch activated the filter starts to squeal with the resonance about halfway up, and then just screams with self oscillation at any higher settings. The resonance boost is especially effective when used with the VCF FM mods. VCF FM: Essentially VCF FM (Frequency Modulation) allows you to modulate the filter cutoff at audio frequencies to create all kinds of clanging cross modulation and bizarre alien splatters & sweeps. This effect works best with the resonance cranked up into self oscillation which is where the resonance boost mod comes into play. The FM controls allow you to select one of four sources for the FM signal. The first is the normal filter input socket round the back. This means you can run a sound through the filter section, but also use that sound to modulate the filter cutoff at audio frequencies at the same time. The second source is a new FM input jack on the right hand side of the case. Using this source allows you to run a sound through the filter from the VCF input or just use the internal VCO, and at the same time modulate the filter cutoff with an entirely independent sound source at the FM in jack. The actual audio from the FM in jack is not heard. The remaining two sources are the sawtooth and square wave signal from the main oscillator. These can be selected as sources completely independently of the setting on the VCO waveform knob The FM source select knob also has an 'off' setting. The amount of FM applied to the VCF is controlled using the VCF FM knob. This unit is a type of preamplifier in that you canuse it to control the volume from line input devices like CD players, tuners,tape decks, etc.  It also has a graphic equalizer with 5 memory settings and you can control all the frequencies of the EQ from the remote control whichis something I have not seen before.  You can switch to a real time spectrum analyzer display which will move to the music.   Other features include JVC's SEA "acoustic expander" which does exactly what you'd expect.  The EQ has 5 memory settings and a reverse setting aswell which instantly give you the exact opposite eq curve.   Allbuttons, controls, features, and display are working correctly.  Shows very little wear. All buttons on remote are working correctly- the remote can control other JVC components as well.    On the back are three line inputs- one labelled Audio, one labelled Video 1, and one labelled Video 2/3.  Youcould use these inputs for a tuner, a CD deck, and a tape deck.  There are also two sets of stereo outputs.  In order to use the EQ and graphic display and volume control all at the same time you need to loop the outputlabelled "Line Out" into the "Remote Contro In"-  am including the JVC instruction book and the original remote controller for this purpose. Sony MZ-E510 Minidisc Player (spares repair, AA battery use only) A somewhat worn but functional MDLP player from Sony, this is listed as spares/repair as it does not work using an internal NiMH (gumstck) battery. However it does work just fine using the AA battery caddy, so may still be of some use... Please note that the back is particularly worn and the legends for the buttons (group, vol +/-, play, >, stop) can't be seen any longer. Minolta lens MD 35mm f2.8 excellent condition for use with mirrorless camera. This lens is in very good condition, lens are clean from dust or any fungus, no haze, no oil on the blades, externaly it is really good as well. Supplied with non original front cap and back cap There is however one problem that only makes it suitable for use with modern camera and not with film camera. Aperture change can be slow even though there is no oil on the blade. It works but it is slow. Not an issue on mirrorless but problematic on film camera if you shoot at closed aperture. Other than that this lens is perfect.
