Bought new in 1974, used until 1997. the engine was starting to smoke blue, a mechanic had suspected a piston ring to be redone. the cost of repairs was too high, we bought another vehicle. for all these years we have hoped to repair it so that we could use it or sell it, but have not had the courage to do it ourselves. in 2001, i wanted to rebuild it, so i started to dismantle the interior (seats) and the front of the car (headlights, bumper, grille). the front seats and floor carpet were left outside and got rained on... we threw them away, as we thought it would be easy to find. it's been stored dry all this time, i can take many more pictures for those interested. all documents are present, registration certificate, certificate of conformity. I am French, so the vehicle is in France in the North (Orchies 59310). I am posting this ad in Germany with the hope that it will find a deserving owner (who is aware of the rarity of this vehicle). 2003 Hymer B644G Motorhome/Camping Car. État : Occasion It is with regret that I am selling my Hymer B644 G. We have had many wonderful adventures building memories that will stay with me forever. The van was first registered in June 2003. I bought the from a dealer 6th March 2014. It had been traded in by the original owner and therefore has had two owners in total. It has 87,000 miles on the clock and is right hand drive. The van is perfect for off-grid camping with solar panels, large leisure batteries and inverter - all professionally fitted. A new timing belt in 2019, and serviced regularly, roughly annually although not all services are stamped in the book. The van has been registered in France since 2018, so has french plates. It is in the South of France, near Perpignan where I live. We could meet someone at a nearby airport or arrange something to make things more convenient for the purchaser. Upgrades/extras - 300W solar panels - 2kW inverter wired into leisure battery and 240V circuit in the van - 450Ah batteries.
