The light works but the fitting will need to be rewired/checked to comply with local electrical standards, it complies with European standards. This chandelier is in working order. The bulb fittings are compatable with 240V electrical supply which covers most of the world including the UK and Australia.  If you live in a country that has 110V electrical supply which includes the USA and Canada all you need to do to convert the lights is ask an electrician to replace the bulb holders when he is fitting the lights. Beautiful Vintage French Large Ceiling Lantern style Ceiling Light,hexagonal in shape.Bronze with Glass panels.It is a large light,75cms high from ceiling to base of light.
