Stylish French vintage brass 3 light chandelier with glass shades dating from the 1960s. The chandelier is made up of a brass center  piece from which come curved arms leading  to bell cup shade holders. From the shade holders comes separate  arms which meet at the bottom on a central finial. The shades are in a bell shape opaque glass in a shaded terracotta colour. The chandelier hangs from a 3 link chain bar and round cup style ceiling rose.This stylish chandelier would suit many room settings adding a French vintage retro feel to your home decoration. Vintage French mid century hanging ceiling lantern with hand painted floral decoration and white opaque glass shade. The light is made up of a black wrought iron scroll design frame with three hanging chains leading to a central ceiling rose. The white opaque round glass shade sits neatly into the framework. To the bottom of the framework is  porcelain finial which is hand painted with a pretty floral design in shades of pink,blue and green. A vintage solid brass cast door knocker in the form of a sailing galleon ship under sail.  This type of door knocker was very popular from the 1950s onwards as Austerity was ending after the war and people sought to improve their door furniture.  This door knocker is not marked with a manufacturers details but is typical of the period.  This is door knocker which is cast with its own striker plate is a particularly good example as it is well cast from a high grade brass that weighs 364g and is 14.5 cm in height x 11 cm in width   This door knocker is a larger example and is quite simple in that it carries no words such as Mayflower, Golden Hind, Victory, 16th Century Galleon or other inference such as nationality on the sails.  It is simply a door Galleon door knocker.  The Galleon has a smooth nicely polished surface and would ideally suit a period property in a seaside location.    SEE PICTURES see pictures before purchase ************************************  In the shop you will find a variety of items, some new, some used a little and some lovely vintage finds.  Sizing differs from brand to brand and some items have the wrong size label. Extremely nice vintage French Villedieu copper plannished saute-frying pan and matching lid. Both the pan and lid have the makers mark of L.Lecellier Villedieu stamped on them also on the pan is stamped the number 24. In good condition for age and use, the tin lining is good and ready to use. The copper is nicely polished there is some light scratching to the pan and lid and two small indentations where the handle sits but all in all this is a cracking pan (please see photos) all consistent with age and use. The pan is a good usable size, the pan measures 24 cm across the top and 6.5cm high, the pan is 2mm thick. This Vintage French pictorial net curtain panel has a scene of dolphins leaping from the waves, with a tropical island and a yacht in the background.  Seagulls skim the waves in the foreground, and fly overhead. It can be hung from a curtain rod or pole, using the eyelets at the top.   It measures 60 cms wide x 162 cms long, including the fringe.  Excellent condition.  See photos. From Normandy, France.
