This is a small quilt suitable for a lasting Christmas memory for your family. It has been well made and has machine construction and hand stitching with gilt embellishments on the tree. The star shaped quilting on the edges is in a gold thread.  The fabric is 100% cotton with synthetic wadding. It is a panel which has additional individual edging. The wadding is low loft and should not be ironed. The backing is a green gingham. The quilt is about 25 years old but has only been out for one month a year to hang on the wall for the festive season. This is a small quilt in scrap fabrics. It has been well made and has machine and hand construction with lots of hand quilting. The border has feature blocks - a humming bird, a rainbow, a flower and a butterfly. The top  fabric is cotton  with warm synthetic wadding and should not be ironed. There are some Laura Ashley, Debbie Mumms, American, Japanese and Dutch fabric in the mix. The quilt dates from around 2000 and can be used on a cot, as a lap quilt or to hang on the wall. To the top of the light are 3 curved arms which meet in the middle on a centre piece and from this is a bar which leads to a double suspended candle and bulb holder. The candle drips are the old card type and are a little worn in places. The light hangs from a 7 link chain with bar and cup style ceiling rose. This mid century ceiling lantern would suit many room settings adding a touch of French country charm to your home decoration.
