Description of present selling Horace SILVER «The Stylings of Silver» BLUE NOTE BLP1562, New York USA labels.1962 Mono issue deep groove and b'"'earb'"' in dead wax both sides. Audio quality is great with rich clear Blue note sound. It's a nice Horace Silver quintet, in my opinion the surprising association of Art Farmer on trumpet and Hank Mobley on tenor fit very well. Side1: Ex+ (9/10), Visual Ex with some superficial unfeelable sleeve marks, great Ex+ audio. My initial signature in pencil paper (removable) on right side of label. Side2: Ex+ (9/10), Visual Ex with some superficial unfeelable sleeve marks, great Ex+ audio. Cover: VG (6/10), Not too bad at first sight but downgraded because of 3 damages on seams, 5 cm tearing on left top seam and center spine and a 5 cm repearable splitting on center bottom seam. There is also little tearing on bottom seam corners and a touch of stain on upper back. (see photos). My grading scale is simple with letters and figures to improve understanding. I grade each side of the record separately (first side then second side) and in the end the cover. I precise the grading with specific informations for each side and cover. I do not grade inner sleeve (possible tearing or tape on it). If you’re interested in inner sleeve condition, feel free to ask… The scale of grading is: VG-(5/10) VG(6/10) VG+(7/10) EX(8/10) EX+(9/10) To be more precise EX+: a superb record with extremely few light flaws if any, maximum of 10 seconds of repetitive tics per side or less. EX: a very nice records with few marks, maximum of 30 seconds of repetitive tics per side or less. VG+: still a nice record but with a bit more marks with a few lightly feelable, maximum of 1mn30 seconds of repetitive tics per side or less. VG: a record with some marks feelable or not, no skips still enjoyable with portions of background tics, maximum of 2 to 3 mn of repetitive tics per side. VG-: a very used record, not trashed but with numerous feelable marks, still no skips but expect maximum of 5 mn of repetitive tics per side or a bit less. Very strict regarding collectors should only bid on EX and EX+ records. I didn't have a record cleaning machine and all records could benefit an ultrasonic cleaning. To improve sound, records should also be listened to with a stylus in good shape (less than a year). Pink Floyd ‎– The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn Columbia réédition France 1971 - droits Sacem. Collection personnelle / la pochette est en très bon état mais présente (au verso) une trace d’une ancienne tache d’eau dans le coin inférieur gauche.  Le vinyle est VG+ et à été nettoyé aux ultrasons puis au gel (voir photos);  le résultat est un son plein et sans bruit de surface avec la pureté du cd mais avec la chaleur du vinyle !!  J’écoute attentivement tous les vinyles avant la vente et celui ci est dans un état 50% VG+ et 50% NM suivant les passages (résultat du nettoyage aux ultrasons et au gel)  Vinyl from personal collection / Cover is VG+ except at the back down left where an old trace of a water stain subsists (see pictures)  / Cleaned with ultrasonic this lp has no surface noise. Only most minimal deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve is almost mint. Quasi Neuf Disque et pochette sont en état quasi neufs, jamais ou très peu joués et manipulés. Ils comportent le minimum de trace d’usure possible. EX Excellent The record shows some signs of having been played, but still plays perfectly. The vinyl may have some tiny wear or marks, but nothing major and nothing that affects play. The cover could show only slight wear and/or creasing but it’s still close to mint. Excellent Le disque a déjà été écouté plusieurs fois. Mais il passe toujours comme neuf. Si il y a des micro rayures, elles sont sans conséquences et quasi invisbles.
