Large & Imposing Antique French Wrought Iron Ceiling Light / Lantern Rococo in Style, Painted White With 4 Stained Glass Leaded Panels Fab quality, a very solid piece & very substantially made in heavy gauge wrought iron work with ornate acanthus leaves to the upper section of the lantern. The four lead glass panels are individual glass pieces, the coloured panes are on "minster" obscure glass & centrally, in each panel, is blue cabochon. Would obviously look great in a porch but would be equally as striking in Hallway. Dimensions Overall height of lantern exc chain -  66cm (26") -  height including chain 2m - can be shortened to a required length of course. It measures max. 32 x 32cm (12.5 x 12.5") round the centre. Gorgeous high-end quality wrought iron chandelier.  It is made of heavy brownish gray metal with substantial multi-crystal drops.  The crystals have little flowers close to the base with a few smaller crystals leading to a large crystal drop. There are 6 branches, each leading to a thick candle stick shaped bulb holder (not the cheap ones we have come to expect) and light with shade. Shades look as though they can be removed if you wish. Each branch has two crystal drops on the arm with two smaller crystal drops at the top curve.     The center of the chandelier has a large decorative crystal ball at the bottom and a pretty flower at the top. The chain is not long because the chandelier itself is quite long. It leads to a beautiful ornate crown that hides the wires. This is a very clean and pretty item, it was original to the home and cared for and preserved very well. It was removed from a very nice 30+ year old home.  The fixture is 48 inches tall (including the chain) x 36 inches wide.   The chandelier will come with the mounting hardware, all you will need are bulbs. The piece has been inspected and I see nothing wrong with it. It is in good working condition and will be removed prior to shipping with cords protected. It is ready to install and enjoy! HETTIER ET VINCENT RARE PAIRE DE LAMPES, BOUTS DE TABLE EN BRONZE ET VERRE MOULÉ PRESSÉ CIRCA 1925   HETTIER & VINCENT       Rare paire de lampes, bouts-de-table Verre moulé-pressé, base en bronze nickelé   ART DÉCO 1925 hauteur: 32 cm largeur à l'ouverture: 17 cm     Rare et très élégante paire de lampes de table, vases éclairants. Chaque lampe est composée d'un large cache ampoule en épais verre moulé-pressé assujetti à une base en bronze nickelé. Il s'agit d'un modèle commercialisé par La maison Hettier et Vincent, fameux bronzier fabricant d'éclairage et lustrerie, installé à Paris à l'époque art déco. En épais verre moulé, les verreries présentent un décor végétal de feuillage fortement stylisé. La surface du verre est satinée à l'acide, avec les arêtes et reliefs polis donc brillants, ce qui accentue le contraste et permet d'accrocher la lumière. On notera que le décor de la verrerie est repris en écho sur le pied en bronze finement ciselé. Très bon état d'usage - câblage aux normes actuelles: cette paire de lampe est parfaitement fonctionnelle. Je signale quelques infimes petits éclats sur les arêtes du décor (très peu visible) ainsi que quelques traits filaires de surface (petites imperfections de moulage d'origine). Une des lampes présente un cheveu (20 mm) au trou de fixation de la verrerie (voir photo). Abonnez-vous ou contactez-moi !   Up for sale is a very fine vintage art deco pair of table lamp designed by Hettier & Vincent. Each lamp is made of a glass vase fixed on a bronz base. The molded glass shades offer a gorgeous floral design of highly stylised leaves. Surface of the glass is acid satinated with polished beveled areas providing an interesting transparency effect. The lamp bases are made of nickeled bronze with a very nice decoration pattern echoing the one of the glass shade. HETTIER & VINCENT is amongst the most important lighting designers / decorators of the Art Deco era in France. This business was settled in Paris, dealing top quality bronze and wrought iron lamps and chandeliers.   Very good used condition: electric cable is modern the lamps works just fine. There are a couple of tiny chips in the glass shade (hardly visible). One of the lamp does have a small hairline near the base (20 mm) where glass is tighten to the metal. Signed: "HETTIER & VINCENT - FRANCE" molded on the shades (see picture).
