For lenses with front filter threads for diameters smaller than 82mm, a separately available step-up ring can be installed between the lens and the included adapter ring. After being fitted onto the adapter ring, the filter holder's pull-and-release locking pin helps to provide a reliable, yet adjustable connection that allows the holder to be rotated 360°, permitting the use of graduated neutral density and other filters that are enhanced by varied positioning. Here we have a Linhof Technika IV 5x7-inch (13x18 cm) camera. It is in pretty good used condition, and appears to be fully functional. The front standard take a bit of pushing to get onto the track, but all the movements and adjustments are smooth. There are no pinholes that I can see in the bellows (I checked with a flashlight). Ground glass is included, and viewing hood is intact. The handle leather is cracked: I would not trust it to hold the camera. While the first - voltage gain - stage is based on an integrated circuit of the highest audio pedigree, the second - power gain - stage is a single-ended, pure Class-A amplifier. It enables the CanAmp to drive virtually any headphones from 8 ohms up to 600 ohms. As its output power (at 8 ohm) is nearly 1W, the CanAmp could drive even a high-sensitivity loudspeaker! The unit has no internal wiring, and the signal path is kept to a minimum on its PCB.
