Don’t get me wrong on that because they sound incredibly good: perfect separation, great timbre, heaps of detail but never over-analytical and always musical and dynamic. Treble is extended and detailed but never harsh sounding. I do like my treble and the Prime does a splendid job for my taste. Treble is on the same level as the mids and bass: clarity, detail and sparkle. The Prime’s sound stage is wide and deep with a perfect balance and 3-dimensionality. Conception et style dans la tradition de la lutherie française, toute en élégance et finesse. La couronne est finement ouvragée et du même style que les flûte de Bonneville, Lot ou Lebret. L'instrument est rare et dans un excellent état de conservation. Inscription: Camille Thibouville / Ivry - La Bataille gravée sur les trois parties Plateaux ouverts et décalés, lièges en bon état, mécanique huilée et en bon état de fonctionnement. Très belle plaque d'embouchure. La tête possède un son remarquable. Une petite dent est visible sur le tenon de la tête. Deux vis d'ajustement sont présentes sur la mécanique au niveau de la clé de Ré, annulaire main droite. Plaquage superbe et impeccable. Les tampons anciens ont été retirés, flûte propre et polie, prête à être retamponnée. La flûte possède son étui d'origine en état correct. Longueur totale: 68,5cm Longueur de son: 60,5 Poids: 364gr Thibouville est le nom d’une des plus anciennes familles françaises de facteurs d’instruments de musique qui trouve son origine à La Couture-Boussey et Ivry-la-Bataille, dans l’Eure. Lorsqu’en 1891 Eugène s’éteint dans sa soixante huitième année dans sa maison d’Ivry, ses fils reprennent l’affaire. Dans leur catalogue de 1900 ils commercialisent une très grande variété d’instruments et se disent { Dépôt des célèbres  instruments de BESSON } et vendent sous cette marque toute la déclinaison des cuivres. Il a remporté des médailles d'or en 1882 et 1883 pour son art de la guitare exceptionnel, et a ensuite été nommé le meilleur luthier du monde La construction n'est pas datée, probablement 1890-1900, toute en bois massif évidemment; table en épicéa et caisse en palissandre, touche en ébène. Barrage en éventail à 9 brins. Le son est d'une grande finesse, étonnamment puissant pour une guitare de cet âge. L'action basse donne une guitare vraiment facile à jouer. La guitare porte une riche décoration de marqueterie en ébène et nacre entre la rosace et le chevalet. Il s'agit certainement d'une luxueuse fabrication sur commande et non d'un modèle standard. La tête était initialement porteuse de chevilles (traces photo 9). Celles-ci ont été remplacée à une date indéterminée (mais avant 1920 au vu des mécaniques utilisées) par de très belles mécaniques en bronze, dans lesquelles la tête des axes est ornementée d'une pièce translucide rouge (pierre, verre ? cf photo 7). On notera que les marques de nacre sur le manche sont en position 3-5-8-12, et non 3-5-7-12 comme en France. Détail original: lors d'une ancienne réparation, un luthier a oublié un chiffon qui est resté collé sur le fond (photo 12). J'ai respecté cette curiosité peu banale et attachante. L’acquéreur fera ce qu'il voudra. Comme pour la plupart des instruments de cet age, la guitare porte plusieurs fentes anciennes sur la table d'harmonie et une sur le fond. Ces fentes ont été réparées et consolidées à diverses époques par des taquets internes. Elles sont bien stables et ne posent aucun problème. Barrage en éventail à 9 brins. Le son est d'une grande finesse, étonnamment puissant pour une guitare de cet âge. L'action basse donne une guitare vraiment facile à jouer. La guitare porte une riche décoration de marqueterie en ébène et nacre entre la rosace et le chevalet. Il s'agit certainement d'une luxueuse fabrication sur commande et non d'un modèle standard. La tête était initialement porteuse de chevilles (traces photo 9). Celles-ci ont été remplacée à une date indéterminée (mais avant 1920 au vu des mécaniques utilisées) par de très belles mécaniques en bronze, dans lesquelles la tête des axes est ornementée d'une pièce translucide rouge (pierre, verre ? cf photo 7). On notera que les marques de nacre sur le manche sont en position 3-5-8-12, et non 3-5-7-12 comme en France. Détail original: lors d'une ancienne réparation, un luthier a oublié un chiffon qui est resté collé sur le fond (photo 12). J'ai respecté cette curiosité peu banale et attachante. L’acquéreur fera ce qu'il voudra. Comme pour la plupart des instruments de cet age, la guitare porte plusieurs fentes anciennes sur la table d'harmonie et une sur le fond.
